its a 740g filler shell obviously its gonna overpressure if it pens, any shell with more than 170g filler has a chance to overpressure if it pens.

thats just the game being broken, It hit the Mantlet Right beside the barrel. which is like 600mm of armor.
Its not broken in how they coded it. But the way they coded it is just too simple.
It technically penned as a small amount of shrapnel got through. This would trigger overpressure and it did its thing. The issue is that this means that any amount of the shell needs to get through. I dont think a 2mm hole would be large enough to allow enough of the pressure wave through to knock out a man in a completely different section of the tank.
