But for a price of rank 4 stuff + some inconsequential prem time and GE, you get like, 3 vehicle, 1 rank lower, and said vehicle is the strongest in it’s BR AND the same prem and GE amount for the tier 4 pack.
So how the hell does no top / slightly below top tier pack can be made and priced similarly? 70 bucks for 3 tanks now doesn’t look ridiculous now that you’ve set a precedent with east west pack. This solves the damned 1DL issue in a zip.
simple. Because Gaijin wants more money.
This pack probably outsold every pack released in the past year combined, so they put it at a lower price to incentevise players to buy the thing.
Two of these make more than 1 top tier pack (with the exception of the newest ones) and they are at the most fun BR range, include great vehicles (certainly not the best at the BR tho) and are of the most popular starting nation.
This pack is overpriced in the sense that it replaces the old “starter” packs. I would not be surprised if we saw similar things pop up for the USSR and America.
Like I do not understand people who buy the most top tier packs… I got the T55 premium and the TAM 2IP. Those are already at the limit I am willing to play. I also bought the Leo 2A4 pack and regrett it as I bought it against my better judgement, that beaing that the BR is toxic and I will not play there much if at all.
And past past me was correct so present me is sad that past me wasted money despite past past me knowing better already
Or in short. More and more people just stop at the high end of mid tiers and are not interested in the higher tier stuff. Making most customers buying these packs “1 time” customers who are likely to quit the game when they get used a a rug to clean the trophies for real top tier players.
Do not despair. Use your premium Leo in Assault to get 300% boosters. You can get around 8000 RP (with premium time) and a fat booster, if you win.
These packs of 3 are a thing for WT Mobile, I believe. Gaijin slowly makes certain things (score card, certain screens, Naval aiming, etc.) more and more like the mobile version of the game. They will not tell you this, but my guess is they want to make it a uni-platform and have all the players queue together. They will probably try with Naval first and hype it with submarines that are already in WT Mobile.
Queue together? Do they want those WTM player to get slaughtered to shit by someone with KBM and quit? at this point console player has already been fucked over by us KBM people, now they want touchscreen ppl to suffer?
