So they still are NATO planes that play against USSR mostly. Thats a different one - as if the Tiger 2s were given to US to play against Germany. Them planes at least HAD some different armanment and played not against but in teams (well sometimes against but an entirely different scale, tho even then i called them copypaste). USSR machinery in NATO rarely plays in team WITH ussr and then even when that happends there are two more countries that play against USSR. Each game USSR meets the USSR in Italy, Germany, Britain, Israel, Sweden ect. against itself. Because there are so much.
I’m 99% sure the game matchmaker doesnt work off modern geopolitics. Besides that’s fairly irrelevant.
it does usualy compell USSR + China against all around. Maybe it does not do modern politics it still mixes the game that way the USSR tanks play against USSR tanks in minor countries.

Maybe its less noticeable in the air combat top tier tho. Im mostly a tank player, that is noticeable there best. And from what i saw at air 11.3 and 9.3 the balancer still tries to make USSR play against many countries
NGL knowing you’re a tanker main makes me annoyed, cause it means you realize how cancerous kh38mts are and don’t want to face them

probably some more to, but the thing is like… ehhh? I don’t really think it would be a healthy state for the game for just one nation to have a plane with fewer but far better missiles. Cause like, players on other teams will feel its unfair to fight against, and players on said team will get annoyed that they’re limited in what they can do. Since 4x ARHs isn’t really a lot in the current meta.
What I’m saying is that. A proper j(m) can beat rafale
no, the F-15J(M) is better at a lower BR, it actually gets functional ARH missiles

As i already said, give the Kh38s to any unique Japanese plane and im okay with giving them away. Im also okay with removing them entirely if they crack balance. Im here agains the USSR machinery facing USSR machinery each game. Armanment is not what i have problems with.
I mostly play NATO side now as not only USSR tanks based on T-72 are lowkey just bad tanks ingame after 10.3, and the USSR only has like a single competitive top tier tank, but because i want to touch all the tanks at top tier so i can clearly state which ones are bad.
Do you actually think ANY F-15 in game is a fair match against the EFTs? let alone the Rafs? and bear in mind that all the EFTs are getting better versions because THEY cant compete against the Rafs. Su-30 is only viable due to the sheer volume of cracked missiles it can pump out, the airframe itself is dog water.
Then there is the CAS load outs… lets not even go there with Japans amazing variety of iron bombs on the J(m).
There is a reason Japan still uses f15 as their primary air superiority fighter. The upgrades they did to them make them into incredibly powerful aircraft. Most of which aren’t represented ingame.
And as far as aam4 you can see some recent accepted bug reports
Yeah, I have seen a number of reports that @Xeno_quaza has put in on it (and thanks for the hard work on that mate, its appreciated).
But given how busted the Raf/MICA combo is, I doubt any changes will make any real difference. Maybe Japan should get the Indonesian Raf instead or as well, see who pops more blood vessels, the French or Russians.
IIRC the Indo rafale deal isn’t fully done to the point of deliveries being made, which is probably the reason the MKM is here, cause no deliveries does make it in a much more uncertain position for implementation.
