The newly added Smaller teams mode doesn’t exclusively get you into smaller team matches this already existed they just changed where the option was this should change and put you exclusively into smaller team matches.
First - it’s not new, it was added quiet a while ago already. Second - it always was just “an increased chance” not a guarantee, unfortunately.
