9 K SL as reward for killing 3 enemy players with MiG-23 MLD…

No wonder why it takes almost 2 weeks to farm 1,000,000 SL…

This game needs to improve the SL reward system more than anything, maybe by removing repair cost or minimum removing crew placement cost.

Or they could add a system that if your team wins the match and you had 40% battle activity, any repair cost shouldn’t be charged either way you survived or not, and if your team lose the match only the players who had 85% of battle activity should be safe of any repair cost charges. It is just a thought but that will improve the economy of this game.

you have to stay alive more to make more sl. Rewards are tied to both battle life and game length.

I honestly dont know why we still have repair and crew training costs in 2025. They could at least make crew training universal, so you can move it to different slots and still keep the qualification

First off, you just gotta learn to stay alive longer as the reward depends a lot on how long you’re alive (as does the repair costs).
Then, keep in mind temporary rewards are much smaller than what you ultimately get once the battle is over, so that’s clearly not something you can use to back this up. Next time show the full rewards instead, they actually mean something

I agree that the sl rewards are too low, but his post doesn’t really highlight the problem since he could get much more with a different gameplay

That’s preliminary rewards, usually you get a lot more SL once the match ends. Saying “9 K SL as reward for killing 3 enemy players with MiG-23 MLD” is a bit disingenuous, since you will likely end up with plenty more than 9K, it just takes some time before it arrives.

Please show the actual rewards from the match so we can have a clear discussion.

Yeah, this, that 9k is just from what you got from the immediate payout from the kills and doesnt factor in any other aspect, including I think end of match multipliers

I agree it shouldn’t impact the reward that much, but I don’t think it shouldn’t impact it at all.

SL reward is awful, I agree.

In Sim, it’s utterly unsustainable without premium aircraft - with 109F4, I can earn 730 SL/min maximum. Reality is 0.92 of that due to (Community Bug Reporting System).

At max reward potential - 15 x 0.92 x 730 = 10 074 SL earned per 15 minutes.

With my premium Mustang Mk Ia, I get

15 x 0.92 x 1015 x 2 = 28 014 per 15 minutes.

With the Ho-229 Horten, I get

1430 x 0.92 x 15 = 19734.

Now, what’s the Horten’s SPAWN cost? Not repair - spawn. You ALWAYS start with -17369. SL:

Let me repeat:

You start with -17369 and can earn at most 19734. Thus sums to 2365 SL gained for 15 minutes of gameplay. IN AIR SIMULATOR BATTLES. You know. The game mode with limited visibility and full-realistic controls (other than engine automation)?

2365 SL for 15 minutes of gameplay where you killed 2 people and got home safe and landed.

God forbid you didn’t land.

If you didn’t land, it goes to

19734 x 0.8 + -17369 = -1581.8

You read that right. 2 kills, survive for a full 15 minutes and die in the 16th minute and you’ve LOST 1581 silver lions.

So you respawn, and now you’re in a debt of -1581.8 + -17369 = -18950.8

Do you see an issue?

Do you see why nobody ever plays air simulator battles between 7.0 and 9.0 except for zombers and people using meta planes like saggitario 2 (8.0) and ariete (9.0)?

That is not the point in how anyone should be rewarded, staying alive longer should only be a bonus, but getting kills, assists should be the main thing. You said stay alive longer, that is an easy task for lower BRs, but for mid-top tier and top tier surviving is worst than facing 4 Tanks in Left 4 Dead 2 in “Swamp” campaing being the last guy alive.

It is a shame that if you manage to get 4 kills in the first 10 minutes and you die you are gonna get less rewards than the guy who made 1 kill but survived the whole match.

That I agree of course. SL grinding is a pain

Don’t you wanna be free of any repair cost charges in case your team wins the match and you had 40% Battle activity but you died?

Or for you, What could improve the economy system of the game?

Tbh I’d say just boost the rewards, the costs are exponential at high tiers but the rewards aren’t. Just boost the multipliers of everything, so skill is more rewarding. And sure, also maybe decrease repair costs to make the game more beginner-friendly.
But keep it as it keeps arcade players away

Because if it is then it probaly without those booster and stuff like that… I check the mailbox of my 20kSL match and it only show me like 6k SL

Yeah that is unexpectedly small rewards for such a good performance. Looking at my own games it seems like the majority of SL comes from severe damage and winning. You ‘only’ got two severe damages and lost, which explains the low SL rewards.

I am not a fan of rewards being so dependent on win/loss, but I suppose that averages out over all the games you play, so it’s not a huge issue. I think the real issue here is the low SL rewards for kills in comparison to the repair cost, kills should be more profitable overall. It would incentivize playing for kills rather than AI or bases (not that those rewards should be reduced instead), while making the SL economy more healthy.
