I was playing quite a lot of 13.3-13.7 in AirRB lately and i came to realisation, that maybe the hardest thing to do in High tier/top tier is succesfully notching incoming radar missiles, especially when its at very close ranges.
This is probably no news for most of you, but generally, I would say that the skill of succesful notching is the most important skill for your K/D and ability to live longer in each match.
Now, the system of rewards values the kills, assists, hits, etc. but the game doesnt care if you spend long minutes notching multiple enemy missiles. I know that the time spent in battle is very big factor in the value of the reward, and in a way, your notching skills can prolong your lifespan by a big margin, making your rewards higher just from surviving long enough. But…
I quite like the idea that you would get some reward for each succesfully notched enemy missile. It could work in a way that you would get only few tens or hundreds RP, or even none RP at all for notching long range launches, since its not that hard to notch 30km+ launches most of the time. The reward would get bigger the closer distance would the missile be launched from, and in the end, if u notched a missile from lets say <3km, you would get reward as big or almost a big as standart kill reward.
Im aware this would come with certain technical difficulties and challenges, and I dont personally know if the game would be even able to calculate and determine the reward correctly, if the game would know that this certain missile was meant for me, therefore I deserve a reward for notching it etc. but Its a idea I had and I would like to know your opinions.
