I can confirm marketplace camouflages often fail to load during battle, both for myself and other players, as they must be downloaded during runtime (they are not present in game files). I do not know what causes this, but it happens periodically and appears to be a download failure, leaving the game to display the default vehicle camouflage instead. Very annoying if the default is say, green, and you were trying to use a winter marketplace camouflage.

If it fails to load in the hangar, it might be a Gaijin CDN issue. But if it fails to load during a battle, then that’s a game issue. I played a few matches last night, and it looks like the marketplace camouflage loading issues from before have all been fixed.
Since CDNs are distributed across different regions, players in one region might experience problems while others don’t. For example, European players might have no issues at all, while players in Asia could still experience them.

It depends if I’ve loaded it in the hangar before entering a match. If I do, it seems to have a higher chance of displaying.
But if you don’t load it beforehand, along with other people you’re queuing with who wouldn’t have had the chance, it could still be a CDN issue.
You are all missing the simple fact that THERE IS A SETTING FOR THIS EXACT THING!!!
As long as you have the settings set to this, you will see all marketplace skins without having to look at them in the hangar. The last setting literally makes it so you have to download them in the hangar every time you launch the game if it is set to “YES”.
All my other marketplace skins load fine. Only the few I mentioned above have issues.
My settings are the same as yours.
Why does a marketplace skin have to load more than once? Why is it not included in the game files on my PC after the first load, like all the default skins? I pay to purchase the marketplace skin, I expect it to work.

Because I said “marketplace skins” to make it easy for everyone to understand, when in reality it applies to literally everything on the marketplace: skins, decals, decorations, and even vehicles. Dontkev-psn is right; even though he is exaggerating, the game would most likely be double or triple the size if you had to install everything.
I agree. We paid for them, after all. What matters most is that they work.
