Who thought that a 10 km distance to the battle is far enough??? If you spawn into battle with an aircraft, you get shot down by an S1 before you reach ground level. If you want to climb to a safe altitude like 10 km, you don’t have enough space to reach it till the battlefield with some aircraft, and if you have to take off from the airfield after refueling, it is even worse. Another issue is that some aircraft have weapons with a range that exceeds the size of some maps. I think it would be better if AA vs. CAS woud be more like BVR with Fox-3, allowing for long-range fights.
