In my opinion, as a member state of the Commonwealth, the attribution of Singapore sub-tree in the game should follow past conventions, such as the attribution of sub-trees of countries like India, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, etc.
In addition, although the majority of Singapore’s population is of Chinese descent, the stance in international relations of Singapore differs significantly from that of China, and there is no alliance relationship or shared military technology between these two countries. Therefore, adding Singapore sub-tree to Chinese tech-tree is extremely far fetched and lacks rationality. I think it’s absurd to use race as the only basis for determining the attribution of sub-trees.
