SIM: fire and forget spam becoming unplayable

At top tier especially for USSR / China at the start of the game it seems like a quarter to almost half of the enemy team are spawning into helicopters or jets with fire and forget weapons. Especially for helicopters using the Pars or Spikes.

They fly up just over a hill or mountain depending on the map, fire all of their missiles and land back down to reload. If its just you or another team mate playing SPAA you will almost immediately be overwelled with missiles coming towards you and your team. You have no real chance of being able to take out the enemy helicopters as they are back behind cover before your own missile will get them, and to make it worse you now have 8 atgms coming towards you. If there is 4+ enemy helicopters doing this you don’t stand a chance.

To make it worse, right now its only Germany, France, Italy and Israel that have these missiles. Once USA gets a helicopter with these weapons it will be all over for USSR / China. Also the NATO team will have the same problem when USSR and China get their versions.

I think the best solution would be to just change SIM, so if you want to have fire and forget missiles on planes or helicopters you have to get enough SP just like for ground RB. This will stop the problem of having 30+ fire and forget missiles coming at you within 30 seconds of the game starting.

You’re experiencing Metagaming, people will get the best vehicles to have the best advantages in a match. For example you’ll see a great amount of player running 2S6 Tunguska because at that Simulator battles rotation, 2S6 Tunguska is the best option in anti-air systems, same like Tiger HAD Block 2 as it require little exposure to engage a target.

If you want to propose a change for it I recommend writing off a suggestion post because I think that’s the best option available, discussion posts are unlikely to move a change specifically in ground simulator battles, at my point of view ignored by Gaijin with no content updates since its addition I believe except vehicles and rotations.
