I had so much trouble with this plane mainly because of the shitty radar missles IR are great tho but I can’t even use them before I get sniped by F-14’s and Su-27’s.

Yes but no.
Relative to those above, even relative to several at 12.0 such as the Tonka F3. the Viggen D should not be at 12.0, and the argument can be made that its onpar in performance to the Mig-23MLD.
But on the flip side, 12.0-13.0 needs to be decompressed, with many other aircraft moving up as its not only the Viggen D currently struggling in the uptiers, even the F3 is having the same issues and in the long run, decompression is the best solution.
Though a short-term stop-gap of fixing BOL would go a long long way

Im trying to spade F3 and F3Late and its not going so well
F3… desperately needs the Skyflash SuperTEMPs to have any match pressence and you need every drop of performance you can get out of it to cope. But is otherwise actually quite a decent aircraft these days.
F3 Late… Im convinced the devs went out of their way to ensure it was as hard as possible to stock grind. I cant suggest anything other than grit your teeth a bludgeon your way through it. Its okay spaded, but far from strong in its nerfed state
Though both need BOL and Phimat added
F3 Late having 9Ls and 9Ms at rank 2 requiring research of AIM9Ls first was extremely stupid.
As for the F3, yeah without the SuperTEMPs your plane is a flying piece of garbage. I think it was one of the only times I’ve ever GE’d a mod.
