Should the me262 get a lower BR and by how much?

I mean, Bf 109 F4 is way better at sustained turning and can spiral climb. But if you just both go reasonably fast, J21 can turn nicely. Problem is, it’ll bleed speed at higher rate. So basically you have to wrap it up quickly and if 109 doesn’t get in your sights after first few maneuvers, tough luck.
I am not saying J21 is a better dogfighter. I’m just saying, it works vs German planes because it has enough maneuvrability to not die quickly.

I do not consider it a good plane. But I had fun flying it because “muh guns” :D

I find that I have zero interest in playing 109s simply because there is a better version of the plane in the Swedish tree : The Pyörremyrsky.

Only the K4 has some interest for me, but that gets outclassed by the 3U and IX-Lf.

Also it feels to me like they have the damage model reversed for the Russian and German 20mm. ShVAk’s absolutely slap, 151’s are ‘alright’.

From my experiencing playing the me 262 !
Me 262 A-1A 6.7 br both air / ground
Me 262 C-1a 7.0 br both air / ground
Me 262 A-1a/U1 at 6.7 in ground RB and stays at 7.3 in air !
Me 262 C-2B stays 7.7 the booster really good !

I would swap the C-1a and A-1a/U1 for air BR
In fact, the A-1a/U1 should be 6.7 because it performs worse than the A-1a. Guns should not affect BR in any kind of way, because if you can’t point those guns at enemies you may as well have no guns.

i go into a match just for my teamates to get demolished by there team which was 70% yak 3U

the mig 15 / also the Su-7 at 9.3 mac 2 jet faces 8.0 jets.
last br change was disappointing.

even a 5.7 can dodge it if it tries to boom and zoom its not even that scary just cause of the guns being infinite do do fart

shvaks have the best consistancy with the colts being a bit worse but made up for by having 4

the 262s are outclassed in every aspect compared to other jet it faces

the guns are nice but it really is a gamble, either you hit the plane with a single mk108 and itll explode
or you throw over 100 rounds at the plane and all you get are hits
if you look at the testing results they did on a spitfire airframe, the damage they do in war thunder is just laughable and underwhelming

you CAN make them work, they ARE easy to fly
the main issue that people are having is

The guns you either get 2 or 4 mk108s (A1,A2, C1,C2 and the Jabo) they are slow, dont do alot of damage compared to other guns and need alot of lead

and the second problem which is pretty much the main issue
it mostly fights Korea or even cold war fighter jets

it can compete with some planes yes, it can get the upper hand yes
but if you face an F84 which gets an airspawn and overall more manouverable, you cant do much, you can try to make him overshoot but he has airbrakes

even if youre a good pilot, if you face a good pilot thats as good as you it does depend on the plane
