Players have zero control over the length of a game. Should rewards be so heavily tied to it as they are now?
Rewards should be calculated based on the % of time spent in a match in relation to the total match length.
Longer matches should yield more rewards tho, but the difference between long and short should be lessened.
Why not just % of time spent in match?
Why does total length need to have an effect on total rewards?
You’d literally have people spawning, sitting in the spawn, j-ing out to avoid dying to anyone and then being rewarded for it…
That’s why activity is a feature, you need to be shooting an enemy / near an enemy for that to stay high.
Activity even got changed recently to cope with a scenario that came about from activity being counted as what it was, and also being abused.
