I have AA experience and had experienced LoS issues frequently. As I said, both sides of the engagement can easily see this.
Why should I show my stat card ? It’s a publicly available information and anyone interested can do it for themselves.
That isn’t my tactic and no, I argued that your claim that AAs will constantly breathe down your neck is false, as LoS is a mechanic in the game that can easily be achieved on our maps.
Well, most people include the lack of skill that got the F-16A moved down to begin with.
Not only that but F-20A is also Kurnass 2000 equivalent.
Obviously F-20A is better in a dogfight, but F-20A also lacks countermeasures and weapon mounts.
It can either bring the Kurnass 2000 loadout or the Mirage 2000 loadout but it’s 9Ls instead of Magic 2s.
F-16A has the flight performance, and a bit more countermeasures.
That’s because of different launch profiles, if either is at max-G with a target barely in its gimble it will struggle. This happens more often to R-73s because that’s its typical launch profile.
If you launch both a 1.5km perfectly rear aspect the only difference is the Magic 2 will get there faster.
Most of those aircraft should go up in BR. The Mig-21 and Mig-23 series should not be the same BR as aircraft like the Kfir Canard, which has 2 rear-aspect missiles and no functional radar. The RWR is also insufficient to even pick up a R-24R.
You dodge an aircraft and become suppressed. You dodge an SPAA and you become suppressed. Both result in a high likelihood of you being shot down. If you’re sucking the ground, you have few options to dodge.
Even if you manage to dodge an SPAA missile on your attack run, what stops the second? You’ve bled your speed and they’re not likely to mess up again.
Not to mention that not every missile is a radar-guided one. Stingers from Ozelots or AD series and Strelas are still very dangerous and will catch you even out of line of sight while escaping from view.
Lack of skill may be one thing, but the Mig-29 at a similar BR has R-27ER missiles. The F-16A is stuck with a handful of Aim-9L missiles and those aren’t nearly comparable.
But it gains a radar missile, which is extremely valuable. IR missiles are incredibly easy to dodge.
I’m not suggesting the Kurnass is bad, but its BR seems unfair based on other aircraft at that BR. If anything, most other aircraft need to move up.
Yea its pretty trash line, I have literally not researched a single AA vehicle in Israeli tree. I only really want the Machbet, but aint researching all that just for it.
Now that I am complaining, they should fix Merkava and Namer armour, its ludicrous how Namer is still at >64 tons yet armour is less than a light tanks.
