Currently to unlock rank 8 I have to research either the foldered F-5E or the Q-5L , researching the F-5E would be faster but if I do then researching the attacker line(edit:the JH-7 one) would take longer in case I want to finish it later, so my question for people familiar with Chinese aviation is: are there many vehicles left to be added to the attacker line and if so what interesting additions could possibly be placed in it?

Sorry didn’t specify it, I meant the JH-7 line, not the other one, where the J-11s are getting moved to
It’s pretty likely that the attacker line (3rd line) will get more stuff in the future.
What can be expected soonest is the Su-30MK2, but later I’m better on the J-16 and possible also J-15s, so if you want those it can be a good idea to go for the attacker line
Get the F-5E, its a superb investment into a good grinder. The other one would be the J-7E.
Once you have either of those you can talisman them and have real good fun grinding both events and the tech tree as well.
The attacker line is currently very mediocre-ish due to lackluster A-G ordnance, knowing how many issues there are with the chinese attacker implementation it might take a while for those to catch up but once they do they’ll be entirely worth it.
Oh yea, almost forgot. The JH-7 is also VERY worth it right now, its pretty good flight performance wise and has two insanely potent missiles for 11.3.
TLDR you cant miss it with either JH-7 or F-5E but if anything the F-5 will retain it’s consistency.
