Germany has great helicopters, great MBTs, and Typhoon for anti-CAS and CAS if you get good with Brimstones.
If you get to the top of Germany and face BVMs, just shoot their turret, it’s the same turret from the 10.3 T-80B just with slightly less available shooting area.

Depends on the era you’ll stick around the most, but you won’t make a mistake by playing either.
Russia all the way, on lower BR’s germany has good stuff but overall Russia is by far the best pick
I’m glad to see a thread on this. I’m surprised there are not more published opinions on tier lists by Rank. The online lists are either ranking top rank tanks per country or what is considered the best 10 tanks per some ranks.
I’ve played most of the countries, and I’ve really settled into Germany. I began grinding it a year ago for Maus but didn’t finish in time. Picked it up again this year and got it, and I’ve mostly settled on it and consider it my main country. Aside from the open roof tank destroyers which are abysmally against my playstyle, there are some incredible tanks to enjoy. Russia definitely has the most strange designs which are also a lot of fun, so I’m grinding them now. I also greatly enjoy Italy, but I haven’t developed it as much as I’d like.
Don’t bother with Germany.
Both nations have amazing tanks and are in my opinion, the 2 best nations. I would say that USSR is ever so slightly better but it heavily depends on your playstyle. I would recommend playing the nation whose vehicles you find more interesting and exciting. Personally, I find Germany to be a bit more fun.
