A fleshed out US lineup means squat when you’re going to get massacred so often and so early in matches that you blow through all your spawns in less than 5 minutes… Teams and matchmaking kills US, regardless of equipment.
Individual skill means nothing when you’re basically fighting a 1v16 all the damn time.
They have one of my fav GE premiums; the AMX-50 (TO90/930).
Which despite firing a 90mm M82 round in matches that can go to 9.0 in RB seems to not suffer at all. I pen easily in uptiers. Something about that gun it has; you’d think you’d be underpowered but you’re not at all.
Leclerc is rated great by lot of people (and I cant wait for it to become a squadron tank one day). And France gives you most expérience, you learn where to shoot the enemies without relying on APHE. Great 7.7 tanks too, and one of best ground-air setups (Rafale+4 Leclercs)
Both US and France have good vehicles at different BR’s, and although Abrams is generally considered better France also does have a couple later versions and next gen MBT to look forward to. So does the US. The US also has a lot more vehicles overall with many additions left across all BR’s. US CAS is generally solid across the board, France does have some standout CAS like the F4U-7 with SNEB and Rafale with AASM IR (which should be nerfed soon) but across the board I’d take the US for CAS even though it isn’t the absolute best at each BR it’s consistently solid.
US 8.3-10.3 can be kind of rough though for actual tanks from what I’ve heard there are a couple decent vehicles but until the Abrams it isn’t really good.
