Clearly you didn’t read my posts where I outline my rule for Commonwealth vehicles. Which said imported tanks with no modification go to the parent tree.
I said Gaijin don’t care. They have no consistency. It doesn’t matter what we think. All that matters is enough people asking for it.
Swedish Leopard 2A6, Leopard 2A4 and Strv 122 series of vehicles.
Swedish T-80U.
American Merkava Mk.3.
British T-90.
There’s clearly a precedent for high/top-tier vehicles being swapped around the various tech trees, yet Germany wasn’t suddenly pointless to play just because Italy and Sweden got Leopards.
Germany definitely was kind of pointless because Sweden had objectively better Leopard 2s, while still being superior due to having 3 Strv 122s vs 1 Leo 2A7, along with numerous better support vehicles and AA.
Play to support the team and have fun, even if it doesn’t get me kills. But I’m sure KD matters and can’t be padded at all. Doesn’t stop the yanks being significantly less competent than British team mates.
You’re better off ‘‘supporting the team’’ by dominating the enemy team and scoring high numbers of kills.
It’s not that easy to pad the stats without other stats such as winrate and K/M ratio suffering.
Also, just because it’s possible to pad stats doesn’t mean that having a negative K/D in the #1 best MBT in the game isn’t still an indication of inexperience.
And what about as a or squadron or event vehicles? Top tier Britain can always use more mobility at least have the option on the table. These disagreements seem more of a pride thing than anything else and don’t account for all of Britains playerbase
Yea, because Britain does not have enough unique MBT’s to add. Like Rheinmetall Challenger, or Challenger Falcon, or StreetFighter, or Al-Hussein. I think there was some plans for Challenger with 140mm, but not sure about that.
They’re competent, and assuming I had the same connection those with servers in their region benefit from then I likely would have those figures. But at the end of the day, KD is an abysmal metric for competency, especially if you bother to account for the terrible networking for those who aren’t from the countries with infrastructure. No point fussing over it and working to bring it up when I can just play to have fun and screw around, especially after far too many hours in the game.
But at the end of the day, if you think KD is a valid metric, I don’t think you’re really worth engaging on the topic. There’s far too many confounding variables to worry about it, even without accounting for the stock grind.
You are just coping about the fact that you really aren’t one of those “competent teammates” you like to describe, and are likely hurt because I called it out.
You really aren’t much better than the famous US teammates you like to poke fun of.
I have enough SA friends who play on the EU_NA servers from south Africa, who at least manage to be very competent players even with their high ping/connection issues and even power outages.
Never played it, thus can’t comment on how important K/D ratio is in CoD.
I do however play War Thunder, which seems to me to be the more relevant game here, wouldn’t you agree?
We could pick winrate or K/M ratio as well, but you’re not doing any better on those fronts either.
Look, you brought this up yourself by claiming a portion of the playerbase doesn’t deserve a vehicle because they’re not good enough for your standards. Seems rather elitist and dismissive to me.
Of all the arguments to come up with that’s the weakest one, and ontop of it’s weakness it’s also being uttered by someone that’s very inexperienced at the game themselves.
