Yes, Italy is home to Agusta, later AgustaWestland and now Leonardo. The company has had a long history building helicopters, with many types and subtypes being armed by both the company and the Italian Armed Force.
Italy is short of one thing, and that is helicopters

again , big market means they got exportet a lot, compared to ah1z, apaches, mi versions and ka50etc, hell i am not sure but eurocopters might have been exported more with 4 user countries

H135 exported to more then 65 countries, UH1 sth like 71 Mi 8 a butt load as well. There is a lot more multipurpose helicopters that might have been sold more
The exported H135 is mostly civilian, I didn’t counted the export of the A109 for the civilian, if so it will go up to 70. But we are not talking about how many costumer the heli had (this really mean nothing for the performance of the heli). We are talking about the heli that Italy can get (a ton) witouth need a subtree.

still wont consider it a major helicopter dealer /developer, that is mostly us and russia,
You can consider it like you want, but still Italy is one of the biggest dealer and exporter in the world. You can’t call Russia a big export because all the nations that have theyr heli were forced when inside the urss to get them. Nowadays russia is exporting heli to a very low number of country (mostly third nation and that has bad relation with NATO)

I cannot imagine being so dense as to not want more vehicles for the trees you play, to help complete lineups and have fun with. It also appears noone here actually listenes to or reads what gaijin says. Just because one vehicle gets added, it does not mean that other vehicles that fill the same role are not being worked on, or that those vehicles will come any later than planned. This also applies to the hungarian ground vehicles. just because they have come this update, does not mean that indigenous italian vehicles are not being developed and worked on.

still wouldnt change anything in game, what would u even want to have added`?, a A129 with spikes with 16km range? or a helicopter that is still in development, both arent great options

i am asking you that, 16km fire and forget missles realy dont look great for game balance right now, i say that while germany would get H145M with 16km range missles as well in that moment. And the AW249 isnt even finished yet. There simply is no new additions for italy right now.
I do not know what the problem with current italien helicopters is, but the armament wouldnt change either on those
Ok I got Your point, for You they are not Great because they Will be unbalanced. On the part You are right aside from them there Is not much else at top tier (all Heli like the AW149,AW139,Mangusta Delta and ecc have all F&F missile with that range). But at the same time from 10.0 to’ the start of the Heli line, dozens of heli can be added (variants of the 129,variants of the 109, Naval heli, Agusta Bell series and ecc). My main disagree against this addition Is that all those soviet heli that were added are not necessary since there are a lot more Italian heli to’ add at those BR.
There was no need for those Helis to be added.

the question do you realy want that? the heli grind isnt realy forgiving, hell most germanys hate we have 2 Bo 105, would you realy want helicopters with minimal changes? The new helis are a sub tree dont delude the grind towards your main top tier helicopter and bring a different playstyle
They could have added the AB 204s but nah, they could have added the 129D but no they want to add cheap helis that are mid at best with worse missiles, tho fun fact Italy now has the only Mi-24D you can obtain ingame, since the german premium is gone

what they do is lower the chances of native helis being added because “you already got new ones” meanwhile they are worse choices from what already is in italy
