Why?
If you’re on the topic of interactable map objects, that would be boring if only cosmetic. Make it functional. For example, moveable (foldable, retractable, vertical-lift, swing, submersible) bridges which take a certain amount of time to switch between states. Or trains which can be started or stopped. Much better than “curtains”, which are massively irrelevant.

I 100% think this should be the priority of the development team next patch maybe customized entrance doors as well. Glad there is people here like you that care about critical aspects of the game and speak up thank you.

Just why do we need to worry about opening and closing them. If you have a problem with that then I recommend just shooting the curtain and bam you got yourself an open curtain.
Not being funny but they cant even get the majority of the hitboxes for buildings and trees correct, so you think theyd be able to model that as well?
