Eurofighter don’t need
The CAPTOR-M in game is not only the worst top tier radar, but also worse than some early PD radars. The Typhoon was falling behind when it was added. If the radar isn’t fixed, getting this is the least that should be done.

Like yea, I have F-16 and Gripen and I swear, at the same range, their radars outperform CAPTOR, even their HMDs works better
I love the Typhoon, don’t get me wrong, but when I was playing it, I almost always had to play passively and get within 10km for the missile to have any kind of real chance of hitting.

Not being able to easily lock targets sometimes and having the locks randomly break for no reason does indeed make it worse in a radar missile meta. The best fighter is the Rafale, with the Su-30SM coming closely behind. The Typhoon is currently worse than even 13.7 jets like the F-15C and J-10A.

The typhoon was the best plane in the game when it was added, with the rafale closely behind it.
Now the Rafale has surpassed everything by becoming power creep, but the typhoon is still top 3 fighters

Only at close range due to its flight performance, which has since been nerfed, even though it was already underperforming.

The flight performance nerf affected only mouse aim controls and i see why that might be a problem.
And no, it’s not underperforming (the only thing might be supercruise speed but that’s it)
I wouldn’t call pulling 16Gs at 1500 kph underperforming, or pulling 25 Dps in a ratefight
Or doing backflips at 300 kph with infinite energy and lift.

Sometimes I wish I could react with a clown emoji to some of these replies. Correct me if I’m wrong, what exactly made the EF the best? The flight model where wings tore off even during instructor-led maneuvers, or the radar that simply didn’t work at all?
i swear defyn has done irreparable damage to the typhoon with his 1v1 video. The flightmodel does not matter half as much as people like to claim. If you have a barely working radar and only 6 amraams youre not going to be the best plane except in killing some troglodytes that dogfight you in their muh-thrustvectoring-SU30
Its impossible to explain to someone with a hammer and sickle (banned symbol in a bunch of countries, btw) on their avatar, that maneuverability means next to nothing in semi-modern air combat, and that the EF’s technical advantages are nerfed for no real reason
Im always hopeful that people like him understand that just because someone shafts them in a dogfight doesnt mean that their plane is unbeatably overpowered

Being good doesn’t mean that it’s not underperforming. It is worse than real life, and thus it is underperforming.

even in game the statistics are just mid. Both the german and the italian typhoon just perform worse than the SU-30 and the british one is on par/slightly better but with only 1/10 of the games played compared to the SU
