true, also have anyone ever felt the tier 1 to 4 been left behind the door or smth? for ground especially, there is not alot of attention from the devs for it.
I’m for them as long as their blueprints existed and could work in WT.
Blueprint vehicles should only be added if there are no prototypes and real vehicles that can be added to fill a gap. And if a subnation can fill a gap, that takes priority over blueprints. Ideally this should be the order: real>prototypes>subnations>Blueprints.
nice.
Emil is basically the Coelian for Sweden, they could always do the planned Centurion turret on the Kranvagn Chassis or AKV 151

Well, yeah its not bad, but still, I wanted to say, vehicles that are like halfbuild could come into game, but with proper reasarch, not like the E100. And if the KRV would ever come, please with the French design turret, a bit french please!
I want gaijin prepare for another prototype aircraft

youre also for the known universe being added to the USSR tree
I would like to see more partial prototypes and planned upgrades that would be realistic and not impossible.
For me playing Japan as my main (but this applies for all nations)
I would love to see flexibility on armaments/ countermeasures on some planes and stuff. Like radar missiles in the fuel tank pylons for the F-2.
Or when gen 5 comes around japans partial gen 5 prototype 26DMU etc
What?
good luck bugreporting a literal paperwaffe
blue prints are a no for me (Ahem P1000 Ratte),
prototypes maybe, like if it has a wooden mockup yeah maybe, but to me if it had a fully functioning or at least metal mockup then I say yes, but idk I digress
I would say if a mockup was made or it was about to start construction then possibly.
I first want gajin to allow complete/partial built planes to be added outside of dct or very specific gap fillers
u mean 99% of naval vessels that are currently in WT?
Jagdtiger with L/66 or L/70 12,8cm and Sla.16 or even the KT 10.5cm’s engine with it’s 900hp.
hell naw it could even use the Type 305 gas turbine engine with 1000hp.
Jadgtiger and Sla.16 engine
Jagdtiger L/66 and Type 305 engine
Partially constructed prototypes are ok, we have plenty of them already.
Blueprint vehicles however are a no from me. You can’t balance what was never made real. (Which is one of the many reasons I abandoned The Other Game for War Thunder).
For me personally, as a WW2 afficionado, I’d love to see stuff like this added at some point:
KV-3 (Hull + gun proven produced, would’ve gone into production fully if not for Barbarossa)
Tás 44M (Hungarian Panther, we have documentation proving the construction of two completed prototypes, but they were bombed before photographs were made)
Jagdtiger 8.8cm (Some Jagdtigers were fitted with the long 88 because there were no 12.8 left to fit them with. Would honestly be a better Jagdtiger imo)
A38 Valiant (A crime against the very concept of tanks itself, but we don’t do that degree of realism in this game anyway)
T40/M9 & M7 (Great American prototypes/“In service” designs (Given the M designation) that would provide some variety at the lower tiers against the great Sherman horde)
T-43 (Improved T-34 with three man turret, was deemed too complicated for the needs of the Red Army during the toughest times of WW2)
KV-13 (Basically a “medium” version of the KV. Eventually led to the IS design)
I could honestly go on for a Bible’s length of interesting prototypes, especially if I drag early Cold War into it too, so I’ll keep it to these fellas for now. But if anyone is interested, feel free to ask.
Blueprint is a big no no no nooooooo for me. Pretty much every single blueprint design for vehicles goes through a major overhaul from early stage to what is actually built in some form or is found to be glaring in weaknesses/over/underestimations.
Prime examples being the vehicles weight, a lot of blueprints will underestimate the actual end weight of a vehicle that fits requirements due to finding out in prototyping that in fact yes, you do need support frames to hold it together for example which adds a lot of weight, or that no, this blueprint engine will not give you 750-800 horsepower and weight next to nothing while being compact without a significant rework, or no, you cant put a 120mm gun into the turret because now theres nowhere for crew and the front of the tank is massively overweight compared to the back (these are all examples lifted from real designs that were massively incorrect on the blueprint stage, Vickers Valiant, Leyland Chieftain engine, I forget which 1 but IIRC a US heavy tank where they realised they needed to add a lot of weight to the rear of the turret to keep stability).
Simply, adding blueprint tanks is adding make believe laws of physics breaking machinery a lot of the time.
There are plenty of real prototypes even if only partially made, the UK has probably over 100 wheeled prototypes from the inter war into the 60s alone lol not even counting after then, tracked vehicles, etc.
Naw, blueprints are non existant vehicles that its not even known if it would have worked as planned in the first place. Also would be difficult if impossible to model and code, considering the limited information of draw tanks, with also no specific values for speed and such.
Personally I do not want to see this game turn into WoT, where they just slap you different types of fictional E-tanks into germany for example.
The day they lack vehicles to add in the current TT, they just can add more nations. Also, its not like the world its running out of wars anyways, new designs will always appear.
I don’t particularly like the idea, not only from a realism/immersion point of view, but from a balance perspective. However I do feel like some exceptions could be made for the sake of filling some TTs, to a certain point.
Immersion should be the least of your concern especially given what we have running around already
