if you ever use more than 50 gold pins for a purchase it will ask you to verify your identity… which is absolutely ridiculous…
It´s NOT working.
My Razer order is pending for 24h now. I remember having troubles all the recent years and for some reason Razer cannot make a system like Paypal work that every pizza delivery service can.
To top it all off I don´t even see an option in the Gaijin Store to pay with Razer Gold. This might be the worst WT event thats going on for years now - as it simply wont work.
My PayPal order also got stuck in processing … because of fraud detection, they escalated the case and it is basically cancelled but their system just doesn’t update the status. It took days to get a hold of support, my ticket is still unanswered but I got live support after trying for a few hours.
Just an all-round shit experience.

I did manage to buy 3x 10 euro + 25 euro gold pins. Everything else was cancelled by paypal. If you want to buy anything over 50 euro you will have to send your personal information to some shady chinese company… all in all it wasnt worth it. A big minus for gaijin for partnering with those scammy chinese companies
I’m no huge fan or Razer, but I don’t really think they’re “some shady Chinese company” considering they’re based out of Malaysia and are one of the largest computer peripheral manufacturers there is.
And could the live support help you… after merely waiting a few hours for them?
i opened a ticket 3 days ago and still no reply.
Well they said the billig team is going to look at it, but it’s basically cancelled/was denied. Also support is only at Singapore times, so I had to stay up until like 4am to get someone, but at least it worked. My ticket is still open.
I just tried to buy Razer gold from another vendor. Same thing, they don’t accept paypal in the end. If I pick another offer from the payment option, I get the same answer. They don’t want my money.
Hey Gaijin, can you please point us to a place where we can buy razer gold?
I tried to get Razer Gold during Junes Razer Gold event this year. All Paypal transaction failed (they still do) and when I finally used my credit card the next problem that occured was using said Razer Gold on the War Thunder store page.
Needless to say all support attempts were only answered (yet not solved) after the event was already over. So since June I have 125 Razer Gold I cannot use because once again the War Thunder store doesnt even show the option to me in the first place and I cannot even turn my Razer Gold into a working PIN since Razer claimed these are invalid by now.
I don´t want to call it a scam considering there are 2 big companies involved here but it´s so unprofessional you can hardly find another word for it.
