i had a match when i got 50cal’d by a m4a1 in GRB and i was in the firefly how is that even possible?

Where was enemy in relation to you and what part of tank did replay show being penned?
Was gonna suggest turret ring but apparently that is 50mm so should not be penned by .50 cal.
Have you checked the server replay?
it was on lower side between the track and where the commander is, i have a video of it happening
yes i have and it doesnt make any sense what so ever

Were you moving? There has been a past bug whereby moving backwards removed your frontal armour, could be similar at play here.
I once killed an M4A1 frontally with my Japanese M16 lol. One bullet went through his drivers port and killed his driver lol. He was on 2 crew and it knocked him out lol.
I .50 cal’d a StuG III G with T77E1 pretty recently

LMAOOO thats pretty much what I did to the Sherman. I was running around the map and saw it and I just started firing hoping to distract him and he died
