I’d play the J-8F so much if it had PL-8B’s. Right now it’s sad

It’s still quite good in sim, it slaps in it because you can actually play it as an interceptor and just farm people with arh missiles. Air rb… it’s quite garbage.
It’s a shame because it really has the best flight model of all the 13.0 fox 3 slingers not including the f-14b, as it’s much better than the phantom or harrier while being slightly better than the kfir

The problem is that in the game it is impossible to take GPS bombs without a designation pod while in real life you just need to coordinate GPS
You can designate an area for ur bomb to target using the map:
Yes of course, but Gaijin has not implemented the script for GPS bombs, so it is impossible to do it without a pod. T-T
kinda funny how this thing can super cruise at low altitude… granted im at 2 minutes of fuel but still

Now, I’m not complaining about this. But, I’m pretty sure pl-5e2 was an export only missile, and the domestic j-8f only used pl-8/bs?

Most images I’ve seen of it, it was seen with PL-8s, which were most likely the B and such. Weird that it didnt get them

no, they are adding pl5e as tier 2 mod
