I’m like 90% certain that the SU-30MKK in Chinese service were capable of firing and equipping themselves with the KH-29T missiles, would it be safe to assume the same for the J-11B? There has to be at least one single smart munition the J-11B could carry for ground missions, surely right?

The more Chinese vehicles become indigenous, the more likely they will use their own ammunition instead of Russian ammunition (well, this applies to some aircraft) I am still waiting for Gaijin to release a good ground weapons order for China rather than adding the 26th version AGM-65 or KH-29… where are our : KD-88, C-705KD, C-704KD, C-701KD we already have the JH-7A, JF-17 and J10A which can fire its missiles, and probably the J10B and J16 when they come into play
the bottom of the problem is not to know if gaigjin will put such armament on the future plane of the Chinese tree but why are there not all the armaments on the planes already in play!?
why are the Russians this step of the KH-38MT: IR+IOG, carry 40 km and 20 in lock, mach 2, equivalent to TNT 152 kg and that the Chinese tree is not entitled to the minimum indicated by the C-701KD: IR, carry 25 km, mach 0.9, SAPHE 30 kg

The problem is we already have Chinese aircraft in the game that can carry good air-to-ground munitions, but Gaijin chose not to give it to them.

yes and in terms of air-to-ground ammunition China has a good equivalent and we don’t even have the native minimum we have to type the Russian or US ammunition… which are obesolet variants

JH-7A should be able to carry four KH-29s instead of only two.
These are all missiles that can be fired by existing aircraft in the Chinese TT.

it can carry, but I don’t think give it things like K-88 is a fine idea, it will cause BR rise, 2 more KH-29T is fine. J-10A/JF17 can use C-701KD, and it’s fine to add them and make them top CAS, and the issue has passed, now we need to push gaijin to finish it.
Well KH-29s are meme weapons sadly. Not as good as LGBs.
J-10 only getting two LGBs is sad, and no air-to-ground missiles.

Yeah, nah, Gaijin will never allow this. 200km max range with manual TV guidance which would allow missile not only be shot safe, but be immune to cover, smokes or friendly fire (as long as the player can ID properly). At best it will be gutted like Brimstones, leaving pure TV IR and restricting by 20km max (or closer because of spaghetti code)
yes and I agree with you, for me gaijin should put first the C-701 and C-704 missiles which have stats very equivalent to what is done with the AGM-65

Not even close, it’s missing the PL-8Bs, the PL-12s and the option to carry 4x KH-29T/TEs (either variant, not so sure if it carried the TE).

The J-11A we’ve got in-game should be capable of carrying air to surface weapons but there is a lack of sources since most information on Chinese aircraft are scarce and therefor it not being present in-game.
We already have GBU-15, Martel, Spike in game. And manual guidance not implemented yet.
Please, who knows what is the radar that is widely equipped on the J11B? Type 1474? Type 1493? Or is it an unknown PESA?
PL-8Bs would make it 13.x, PL-12s would make it 13.3 minimum pre-decompression.
It’s fine without them, and has historical loadouts irrelevant of having those weapons.

I was responding to this sentence, not that I want the PL-8B and PL-12 on the JH-7A. What I do want however is a late variant of the JH-7A with both the PL-8B and PL-12 since Russia now finally has their SU-34, it’s inexcusable that China should be restricted whilst Russia is allowed to roam without a leash.
It’d also would be 13.0 with the PL-5E IIs/PL-12s & the regular PL-8s or 13.3 with the PL-8Bs/PL-12s.
