Not yet, very hard to find good sources on improved CM count but it’s assumed that more were added when aircraft like the Su-30MKK come, although i do not believe the J-16s recieve additional CM blocks, will remain 96 large cal
Checked some images, i’m pretty sure it’s still 96 large calibres
And AKAIK Flanker’s dispenser could take more normal CM instead of large calibre CM, maybe gaijin will allow us to select calibre in the future
no, modern plane don’t rely much on CMs, the missiles now are smart enough to ignore most of the CMs, you can see most newly designed plane don’t have much CMs.
Yeah, but this is WT.
If the new leaks about F18 is true, hope we can get J-15 and J-16 soon.
Su-30MKK has integrated PL-12 and PL-8B now, and if Gaijin gives a later batch with Zhuk-MS radar it won’t be bad. It also uses L-150 Pastel RWR which is miles better than what J-11 and J-11A get.
Of course, I still hope for something like J-11B or J-15, but knowing Gaijin they might not decide to add it just yet.
The Su-30MKK has never had a Zhuk-MS radar.
So is it using the same radar as Su-27SM?
same as SU-30, N-001VE
Zhuk was offered apparently for MK2 upgrades, but China never took it. I hope J11B instead of Su30 cause it will just simply be horrible to use.
Yes
The Zhuk was offered a lot of places, but it never got on Sukhoi planes
wish the J11B or J15 wiil come
Oh,J11B! Win!
Huuuge if we get both the J10B and J11B in one update.
Does anybody know what the weight of the J11B is? Is it lighter than the J11A?
It’s in the ballpark of 700kg lighter than J-11A, which is the common figure. Some sources claim even more.
It should be around 100-200kg lighter than the Russian Su-27 we have currently. The most important bit is the new engines though, which will give it a much better thrust-to-weight ratio.
Do you know how much more thrust the new engines have?
