On the contrary, the J-15T can become even heavier due to the need to increase the strength of the head part.I didn’t see any composite materials on it
How can u see composite material? Like the nose is made of composite material, but can’t be noticed much except for paintwork.
Should be around same weight as J15, cause even though more stuff are composite they do need to strengthen the front landing gear for Fujian’s takeoff.
AOA capability and low stall speed of naval fighters (especially a naval Flanker) it would be pretty deadly in a dogfight
It’d still fall short to many aircraft in a guns only dogfight and that’s due to the Flankers general poor flight performance in-game, the best general aircraft we could recieve would probably be the J-10C or J-10B TVC.
Including PL-10s however with the obvious HMS feature would probably make it a amazing dogfighter in-game, a lock would almost guarantee a kill in most scenarios and with the J-15s high AOA capabilities this would help assist the PL-10s kill potential.
It’s designated J-15T officially
Yeah this is a new designation or as far as I know, it was previously coined the name “J-15B” so I referred to it as that.
The J-15T sounds more modern and menacing anyways lol.
Almost-
No, in fact all modern Chinese combat aircraft have composite materials in their airframe as this is a modern standard.
China is a nation with a GDP of 18 trillion, they wouldn’t struggle with financing this unlike others.
To be fair a b29 with pl10’s on it would be good in a dogfight
used some of J-11D tech, but J-15T is also a multirole aircraft.
Composite materials are labelled with prohibition signs, about fragility. No such signs have been observed
Modern standard doesn’t mean, transition of the old platform to composites. Considering that this is a copy of the Su-33, which did not have composites
Stop making up nonsense.
It’s far more different internally and structure-wise than a su30 → su35 is ))
Internally, yes, but structurally only the head end.
lol what? do I need to label next a F1 car ‘everything is fragile inside this vehicle’? No, composite material is stronger than steel in some cases, why do you need ‘labels’ to say they are fragile.
It’s not.
J-15 is developed from J-11B and T-10K(No.3 and No.7 prototype from Ukraine). Basically a J-11B with navy modification form T-10K, so it’s a brother of SU-33, and differs a lot.
Brittleness is the property of a material to collapse without forming noticeable residual deformations. It is the opposite of the plasticity property…
The composite is stronger than steel, but not more ductile, especially if the composite has a certain fracture profile…
The J-15 is an exact copy of the T10K-7, the only thing that differs is the equipment. There’s no J11B in it.
Structurally, it’s the same T10K-7 without the composites. Which they’re carefully crafting here
Sources?
You should be the one to ask the sources of your delusions
So China copy and pasted T10K with better avionics and do not need to change the structure at all? Reminder, it is not a stupid Mech, and has a domestic radar, so there definitely is J11B in it.
Why change the design explain to me for what? To cross a land car with a sea car, your conclusions are so absurd and stupid.
So? they look alike so?
