Gaijin appears to have applied only extremely low strength to the composite material fuselage. J16 can only maintain its speed for 3 seconds under overspeed conditions.

Usually things only start to go evil after 20%… Ig the servers are pretty strained rn since my pl has been consistently bad today. i might wait a few more days for servers hampsters to rejuvenate ig…

man, I suspect the radar in the game is completely fake, because China is already using second generation AESA radars, featuring higher antenna elements density and greater transmission power, it’s hard to believe the radar would have the specs shown in the game given its physical size, that’s a lot of hardware and a massive antenna

yeah, same radar as the j-10c which is a single engine fighter… I understand that we dont have much information on the j-16 or j-15t radar, but having a radar which uses half the power (or even less) than what your aircraft generates is stupid… Hope gaijing adds a more powerfull one in later iterations

Itll only start to matter once they start modeling stealth correctly…
For now its one of the better AESA´s already and 150km is also plenty ingame.

The radar is fine as is for literally 95% of usecases in WT
We literally have the most modern version of the J-16 in game
We have a Batch 7 in-game.
