I heard about this, but I couldn’t find any sources

YJ-91 in the dev stream - copy KH-31P

Also the new CM-102

The CM-102 should be a good missile.
But the YJ-91, if it remains a copy of the KH-31P, will be extremely mediocre.

If the YJ-91 is equipped with a ramjet and also responds to aircraft radar, could it score a decisive hit in BVR combat immediately after the start of the match?

CM-102

The weight is incorrect. It is overweight

Well that seemed too good to be true so there it is, went from accepted to not a bug because “naaaah, we don’t feel like changing it”

Gaijin just wants to take the lazy route, not make major changes to the YJ-91. Compared to the Kh-31P, they can literally just change the model texture and call it a day.

Shouldn’t the J11A be able to carry the kh31p ?

As its a russian package upgrade.

I have a secondary source stating that the J-11A received the Su-30MKK’s fire-control system, giving it the capability to use the Kh-31P and Kh-29T
But I can’t be bothered to look for a second source like that for the report
