Actually, the dev suggestion of J15T already had a photo with PL12A model on J15T
gaijin u can just copy-paste the serial number on it.
Anyway, all of the PL12 msls are named sd10a

also, antenna size, but antenna size magically does not matter in WT so that’s also irrelevant
so the J15T should be 400kg lighter then?

LMFAO they took the bullshit Jane’s estimate number and fucking ran with it
It should be approximately in the realm of 400kg lighter, so should the J-11B actually.
Because the WS-10s (both A and B) are modelled as weighing 1795kg, but that’s also including extra components. AL-31F using the same standard would weigh approximately 1800kg.
^different standards for dry weight for each country
The figure 1795kg includes pretty much all of the engine subsystems.
Unfortunately actual figures of the “dry weight” that Gaijin wants is really hard to come by.
It’s probably in the realm of ~1550-1600 but there’s nothing concrete.

Yeah unless you’re telling me the USSR magically mastered material science to be able to cut 200kg off the weight of an engine with no performance loss
exactly, engineers should use the Eurofighter radar, smaller but just as good in game 🤣🤣, just wait for gaijing to implement the j-16 radar (irl the most powerful radar on a 4.5 gen) and just be a normal radar like their implementation of the j-10c
Wild claim with 0 actual information on its radar
its just statcard
I mean, still doesn’t change the fact WS-10B rn is too heavy.
doesn’t matter, the weight is fixed, and it’s more than 200kg lighter than it should be
I believe all jet engines in the game are actually using the Soviet/Russian-style dry weight, only the WS-10 series is the heavy one for some reason.
Gaijin being inconsistent as always.
Maybe we can at least reduce the empty weight by 450 kg.
ofc they denied it :)
I swear, these report moderators are a PAIN to deal with.
Who made this image? The WS-10 in the image is listed with a thrust-to-weight ratio of 8.8, 13,500 kgf thrust, yet an engine mass of 1,795 kg? If the thrust-to-weight ratio is 8.8, then the engine mass should be 13,500 / 8.8 = 1,534 kg. What is the author trying to say?
It’s Janes don’t worry about it, Jane’s bas been trash for years
There is a reason we arent allowed to use janes to bugreport (but gajin apperently is allowed)
this was the only thing changed in the new dev update

Yeah from my expirience spading J-10A with 72 or F-16C (back when it had 60 total pops) you are always on edge not to spend too many. Not a pleasant expirience, but just about workable.
And that was before the worst offenders in mindlessly spamming ARH everywhere, such as:
su30sm/sm2
all the 14.0/14.3 hornets
f-15C GE
were even in the game.
Now when they are, it is considerably worse than that.
Is there evidence that the J-15T can use any variant of the KH-29? With current weapons being anti-ship missiles, it would be better to have more effective A2G weapons.
