Shenyang J-11, J-16, J-15, History, Performance & Discussion

You can’t take Su-27SK as reference for modern Su-30 and Chinese domestic variants - that manual would only apply to base line Su-27s / Su-33 and Su-30MKs.

How likely is it that we will obtain CM-704 kg? Can the J-15T carry it?.
It looks more promising than the KD-88
This data sheet is from another version, as I can’t find the one for this specific version.

I submitted bug reports a year ago to add the C-704 and C-701. The reports were validated, but we’re still waiting.

They were made 2 years ago and 1 respectively. 💀

Someone else should do others report to refresh their memory , and should look for sources that indicate that the Chinese flankers can also carry it in addition to JF-17 and J-10.

we have had 0 details and sources for chinese airborne radar since J-8H, dont worry J15T will also be another guess work

only for su-30mkk
su-30mk2 should have n001vep

With this, I don’t see why the J-15T can’t have at least a C&P radar from the SU-30SM2 N035 (Irbis-E)

Because that’s a gimbaled pesa instead of a aesa.

does china make bol pods ? J15 might need them at toptier as it has 48 flares which isnt a lot

The developers already said that they are thinking in a historical way, basically giving the countermeasure packages of the J-10 what would give as 96.
*It is subject to change.

In my personal opinion, 48 countermeasures are sufficient for BVR since you only require 3 chaff discharges to complement the notch + altitude change to make an ARH lose the track, the real problem is the radar with horizontal 70° (which does not allow to guide missiles while notching); and in GRB the lack of missiles capable of launching at more than mach 1.0 and having a block range of more than 5.5 km.

But what can we do abou that?!..
I have already lost hope in the Chinese flankers, I will use my Main Russia account again even if I do not like slow-reverse tanks.

Well, at least it looks like it’s going to look a little bit cooler visually.

Hope the roll rate get increased too

no where near optimal compared to other 14.7s youll run dry if you get targeted bare minimum should be like 60-78

No, because China relies far more on EW than still relying on chaff
