MKK can carry PL-12… And iirc PL-12 and R-77 have very simillar front part.

I know that yeah, it’s just I’ve never personally seen any pictures of an MKK with them, just Adders. And PL12 has some raised bits we would see from this angle, so my bet is currently on that and not the Adze.
Not saying there aren’t any pictures of an MKK with Adze I’ve just never seen them myself haha, I know the folks who got them on the plane in game found some documentation for it iirc, if there are pics I’d love to see them!

man why couldn’t the chinese keep the r-27er on their flankers, it is such a good missile even with fox 3s existing.
I would deadass still bring at least 1 27er on the j-16 if it still had it over stuff like the pl-15, stealth launches + datalink reconnect is just so good

Them pay walking the su-30 is such a scummy thing to do, hopefully we get su-30mk2 in tech tree eventually

My biggest turn off is the loosing R27ET-R-73 combo.
Pl-8B doesnt cut it and lacking long range IR missile is drawback in my book.

irl, R-27ER has many problems and is all way worse than common ARH, and the inventory is almost depleted, no need to keep it, even they can use, you won’t see it, since the inventory is in hand of old SU-27/J-11 squad’s hand.
it’s many years since last time R-27 series is seen, inventory should be none.
hope gaijin can add PL-11AE.

The Su-35 does not use the 27er, according to the brochure
Only R-27P1/EP1 (passive seeker) = 27T/ET
su-35 definitely carries r-27er, here it is on su-35. Also r-27p is completely different compared to standard r-27r/t.

R-27P is not sarh. it is a passive radar seekerhead.
Basically, it targets enemies radar emition, like a HARM missile or kh-31p.

If the reason of technical compatibility had not appeared in the game from the beginning, I would also oppose it, as you said it would lead to some very absurd situations like the current MKMKH38.
