To be fair, the engines are a bit heavier (WS-10A) than the AL-31F, I don’t think it should be more than 700kg.
Could someone please make a bug report on the fact that the J-11B’s radar function ( Type 1493 ) is currently modelled as the N001
Feels more of a copy of f15 radar
Some aspects is copy-paste AN/APG-63v1 but the radar modes are copied from the N001, and the track range is pretty low (only 60km) while the highest search range reaches 200km.
Did anyone bug report j11b irst? is it supposed to be this terrible? thought it would at least be a copy and paste su 27 irst instead of what i think is a mig 29 irst.
I understand perfectly well that the J-11B is configured incorrectly, but even so, the aircraft turned out to be good. The next patch is 90% likely to give us the J-10B, on 14.0
Honestly i’ll take anything, new J10, J15 variants, or J16
yes, but there haven’t been any images of single-seat J-15Ts with the wingtip ECM pods like the mockups. I’m assuming this is because the ECM pods is operated by the weapons controller, only present on J-15D. It’s possible that the mockups are an error by whoever made them.
Speculatively, I think Su-30MKK after JH-7 is likely the next top-tier release. After that it could be anything from Su-35, J-16, or J-10.
J-15 with only 48 countermeasures and no ECM would be instantly dead on arrival at top tier. BVVD has yet to announce any plans to add ECM in the game either.
That’s what I’m interested in. And why aren’t the same rockets placed on the same pylons? Why is the PL-12 not mounted on this pylon? Names identical
Su-30 mkk dont be announced, a opposed to j-10b
Maybe weight?
they are actually different pylons, PL-8 uses it’s own unique pylon, the name is just because they use same texture, because there is not many close photos that showing details.
Give it time, the J-15T is still relatively new. I’m sure we will see the pods within the year.
Issue with that argument is that it must be controlled manually, which is likely not the case as seen by the ECM pods on SU27SKs, which were almost never taken off.
It’s kind of illogical and inconvenient. Could it not have been adapted to the usual pylons that other rockets fit?
PL-12 is 203mm diameter, and weight 200kg, not suitable for wingtip. so in China and Russia, BVR missiles and dog fight missiles usually don’t share pylons.
recently, there is some new universal pylons, but still not totally universal, just modular.
Can someone follow up on this a bit, cause that seem to be troubling me quite a bit with J11B, but sensor mode crashes my game so I can’t check for myself.
A universal pylon PF10W appeared on the J10CE, which can mount PL15 and PL10, and on a UAV at the Zhuhai Air Show, this pylon was also mounted with PL12AE missiles
