Just to be clear, regarding my previous posts where I claimed that the F-15C GE (14.3) is far superior to the new Chinese J-15T, today I got my hands on an F/A-18E Super Hornet and, in my opinion, even that completely outclasses the J-15T, despite having lower speed and weaker acceleration… Seriously, in my opinion even the Super Hornet is much better than the flying shark :(
It’s sad that Gaijin treats the Chinese nation like this in this game…
Why is the Hornet better than the Shark? The AIM-120C/D reaches the target faster and is more likely to hit the enemy; secondly, the 120CM already allows you to play at the top tier, whereas the 48CM is a nightmare… And that’s enough; with the Hornet, we can easily accelerate to Mach 1.3–1.4, and that’s enough for the missiles to start hitting their targets. The PL-12/PL-12A, even when fired from Mach 1.8, are significantly less effective than the AMRAAMs…
Even my own statistics seem to confirm this; of the five 9th-era aircraft I own, the J-15T is the worst of them as of today. The only remedy I can see for it is to change its BR to 14.3 and add extra CMs until ECM mechanics are introduced into the game.
PS:In short, even the F/A-18E is more enjoyable and effective to play than the J-15T, EOT.

Generally, ESM capability is provided by conformal antennas on the J-15T’s leading-edge flaps (including RWR). Directional ECM, on the other hand, is part of the AESA radar’s functionality. As for the rear-facing antenna, I haven’t yet identified which specific one it is… ECM has a higher classification level than radar…

please tell me where you’ve gathered all this information from, i’ve been trying to find any information on the J-15T’s ECM/ESM systems for ages and i’ve come up completely empty-handed.
honestly, I’m starting to feel like there is a non-negligible chance that gaijin refuses to implement ECM to the J-15T because of a lack of public information on it.

does the production J-15T even use the PL-8B pylons?
i’ve never seen any photo of serialized J-15T with the PL-8B wingtip pylons. these are the only photos i can find of a “J-15T” with the PL-8B wingtip pylons, and they seem like they could just be J-15 frames with modified landing gear for the catapult launch bar, particularly because the radome seems to be of the old J-15 type.

of course not, the J15T was revealed officially around 2024, the PL10 already replaced the PL8B for like 8 years by that point

No. In fact, the wingtip pylons on the J-15T also differ from those on the J-16. The J-16’s wingtip pylons are clearly marked with “Do not fly without nitrogen bottles”, whereas the J-15T’s wingtip pylons are slightly different in shape and lack this marking. Some speculate that this makes them compatible with a new small-diameter BVR AAM (the PL-16) to compensate for the fact that the outer underwing pylons cannot carry it due to aileron placement.

Why do 99 percent of Chinese bug reports on their planes have no sources lmao.
Whenever I bug report them I always look for stuff that actually have concrete sources.

cause picture didnt need sources until recently unless they were asked for, also its fucking grab handles in the cockpit lmao, not even something that impacts gameplay in anyway

Cockpit is already mismodeled, doubt they’re gonna do anything about it considering there’s no pics of the j15t cockpit and they’re instead copy pasting the 11bs one

Now Gaijin can do whatever they want. There’s always a reason for them to reject the issues you submit, and now there’s one more added to the list. In the report above, Gaijin could have given us a chance to revise the issue and submit sources, but they didn’t. Even if you provide image sources, they can still reject your issue by claiming the image sources are problematic. Now they just do whatever they please. lol

Well j15t only entered service in 2024 so am not surprised there isn’t any or very little sources about the plane
Plus the fact that it has no export model makes it worse
