The PL-5E2 accelerates much faster over short distances. You’re saying the opposite.
Issue is PL-12 is not great ATM so I can’t take any advantage of that… Also still slower than EF and F15 in terms of climb, somewhat more manoeuvrable but also does have worse kinetics and the placeholder radar is suboptimal.
I don’t have a problem with the flight performance, just the placeholder radar modes need to be fixed and PL-12 being more reliable for 10 km+ shots.
Yes the PL-5EII’s acceleration is much better, but acceleration is not speed, after about 1-1.2KM in flight, that acceleration stops and it begins to slow down. At about 2KM in flight the PL-5EII and PL-8B will be around the same speed, but the PL-8B will still be accelerating, whilst the PL-5EII will be slowing down. The PL-5EII has better acceleration, it does not have better speed. If you mess around in StatShark you’ll see this pretty clearly, in many cases you’ll see scenarios where the PL-5EII reaches a target before the PL-8B, but does so at a lower speed.
This one is rather famous (yes i know theres a no. 33 already ingame but this one is rather famous for a barrel roll over a P-8 plus the no. 33 livery ingame lacks the small scaled full regristry number on the verttail (see the black thing in verttail in image? thats the regristry the 5 digit one))

Ah, that makes sense. I was really hopping it would be a better low-speed dog fighter compared to the SM personally. I like it a lot more for ARB and ASB over the SM, just wish its thrust was still higher at low speeds as well. Do later variants of the J11B get improved WS engines?
The Block 07 and 08 received the WS-10B engine with late-model nozzles same as the J-16. It remains unclear if the J-11BG upgraded from Blocks 02-06 underwent similar engine upgrades.
J-11BG with old nozzles ( It’s impossible to confirm whether this is the WS-10A or WS-10B, as both engines have historically been paired with the older nozzle design. However, the new nozzles have only been previously observed on the WS-10B powering the J-16.）

I think J-11b’s empty weight is heavier in-game than it is supposed to be. But the J-11b is very strong if you play it to its strengths. I had a 77% win rate when I was grinding mods. I have a 62% win rate rn.

J-16 and Su-35sk
no su35 on there
PLAAF SU-35Ss have a solid grey radome, a russian style blue camo with a grey belly, and… well, the Su-35S particularities (dark grey surfaces on the stabs, slightly different jamming pole at the back, etc)
I love the Temu Flanker, it’s literally the fastest Flanker in the game, the weight reduction and the thrust really makes this aircraft pretty standout, tbh is there any upcoming J-11 fixes that will be soon implemented in the next patch?
Hopefully radar fix + further weight reduction + PL12/PL8B buff although we don’t have much hope for that.

The radar is somehow worse in track range and scan modes compared to Type 1492, the predecessor radar on the J-8F. This is pretty ridiculous.
As for weight we’ll have to prove that the WS-10A is lighter than it is, the current empty weight of the J-11B is the airframe weight reduction of 700kg +400kg of weight from the engines.
