they are actually different pylons, PL-8 uses it’s own unique pylon, the name is just because they use same texture, because there is not many close photos that showing details.
Give it time, the J-15T is still relatively new. I’m sure we will see the pods within the year.
Issue with that argument is that it must be controlled manually, which is likely not the case as seen by the ECM pods on SU27SKs, which were almost never taken off.
It’s kind of illogical and inconvenient. Could it not have been adapted to the usual pylons that other rockets fit?
PL-12 is 203mm diameter, and weight 200kg, not suitable for wingtip. so in China and Russia, BVR missiles and dog fight missiles usually don’t share pylons.
recently, there is some new universal pylons, but still not totally universal, just modular.
Can someone follow up on this a bit, cause that seem to be troubling me quite a bit with J11B, but sensor mode crashes my game so I can’t check for myself.
A universal pylon PF10W appeared on the J10CE, which can mount PL15 and PL10, and on a UAV at the Zhuhai Air Show, this pylon was also mounted with PL12AE missiles
I remember this, though I mess this with the modular one, that is for ASM and other large loadouts
They aren’t fake units, they are in Feet and Knots
J-16 low-altitude pass

He’s better at everything than the su27sm.
Sure, except the part where it is missing half its radar range, the supposed 30 degree elevation that doesn’t exist, the useless piece of shit ACM mode straight from the dogshit N001 abomination, non existent gimbal range, literally no better than using the N001 on the dumpster fire J11A but sure
Developers really don’t like to change what they have set up themselves. Without documentation, they do not change, even the obviously incorrect characteristics of the equipment, unfortunately. Chinese technology is worse than in real life, because there is almost no documentation for it at all. And not because snail hates Chinese technology.
Really, because it sure doesn’t seem that way when they invented the F16AJ and Ho Ri Production out of thin air, or how the Thai F-16A-15OCU is basically science fiction, there’s reasonable guesstimation and then there’s literally making it worse than the 1492 that it succeeds, every single time they give chinese planes the worst version possible until there’s so much backlash that they absolutely cannot just stick their heads in the sand anymore
Its not just china getting stiffed on radars atm. Something weirds going on.
The PS-05/A Raven (Gripen radar) was a made into essentially a copy paste of the Blue Vixen, a radar it was based on, but significantly superior to.
The CAPTOR-M, a sort of sister project of the PS-05/A, and widely considered the best mech scan radar on a jet, which was also developped from a Blue Vixen is arguably inferior to the BV in-game.
The NO11M Bars radar from the Su-30SM has mediocre vertical scan zone of only 7°, less than half that of the other Russian PESA in-game, the V004 on the Su-34, which to my understanding is an older radar.
Ans now I hear the J-11B’s radar is also not performing to expectations?
It seems just about everyone except France is getting screwed on the radar side of things at the moment, its really weird…
it’s a bit different. the examples you listed is like these radars have a little problem, which stopped them reaching their best.
For J-11B’s 1493, it’s just unfinished, it can scan 100km range planes in codes, but copied N001 scan modes put a limit on it.
it’s like put a 20km/h speed limit on Abrams
And yet none of those magically have their lock range slashed in half because these incompetent buffoons can somehow forget to fix radar modes before release, it’s the difference between not having the capability at all vs supposedly having it and not being able to access it because of incompetence. But yes it is quite absurd overall with the captor M also being dogshit
which are fake units nobody cares about. Hell even look at official documents like annex 5 of ICAO
China is using correct units, the cockpit should have those everywhere

which are fake units nobody cares about.
Ah yes no one cares about the internationally recognized standard for aviation units. LMAO some jokes write themselves.
