Has this ever happened to you? (It has happened a lot of times to me) You see an enemy staring right at you, and you stare back at him, you two notice each other at the same time. You shoot, but the enemy manages to get the first shot just milliseconds before you. You know it. You know you aimed a perfect shot at his weakspot, but then, his shell hits your cannon breech, and your shell just disappears mid-flight, and the enemy just survives without a scratch!!! So frusturating, is this a anti-cheat mechanism, or just a bug?
What do you guys think about this and should this be patched
The game’s synchronization works horribly. Probably because you shot at the same time, the bullet hit the enemy and broke the barrel, and due to the desynchronization, the game decided that your bullet didn’t exit because your barrel was already broken.
I even shot an enemy on the side of the turret and it turned out that I had hit him in the mantlet. Because the turret started to turn, the game miscalculated where the bullet was going to hit him, so instead of hitting the side, it hit the front of the turret.
The servers need a huge optimization.
depending on ping and tick rate, a server might register his shot before yours. even when you shoot just before he does, his shot can still register as first server side. its just a multiplayer quirk. you cant really counter it unless you utilize features such as anti-lagg. but that adds a whole other layer on top of an already buggy and shotty game thats being held together with spit and hamster corpses.
