Setting that does not distinguish the sound level of the player's own vehicle engine from that of the enemy engine

Currently:

  1. Players can set their own vehicle engine volume, with a minimum of 27
  2. Engine sound from other players, up to 100
    Causing:
  3. According to the distance, the player’s own engine noise is too low
  4. Some players use X-ray eyes and claim: I accurately locate the enemy’s position through sound, which building they appear from, and what distance to launch the attack from
  5. Some tanks have lost their unique characteristics. For example, in urban warfare: the enemy uses MBT, and teammates’ high mobility vehicles cannot reach the enemy’s side or rear by moving, forcing them to confront MBT head-on (enemy: we determine from which direction you will come by sound, and I look at which intersection you move to). This is not suitable for different countries and vehicles.
    expect:
  6. Do not distinguish the engine volume between players. Unified settings.

Do you know how rare it is to run into someone using X-ray in the game? I myself have only gotten a handful banned over the last few years and I have way too much time in this game. Its not like there’s secretly people using X-ray in every single game you play and is actually quite rare as Gaijin does a surprisingly good job at banning them. Locating players by sound is fairly easy and players with experience can usually scout through walls in most cases cause its so easy to tell where players are. Unfortunately sound is just a big part of GRB (unfortunately cause I cant listen to music) and these settings are really good so you don’t, you know, damage your ears from your engine sound being way too loud trying to listen for enemies. I honestly wouldn’t mind if you couldn’t change these options and if it was a lot harder to hear enemies with your engine on but it’s just kind of how the game is designed.

Based on my understanding, gaijin captures cheaters through manual review.

The recently announced list is about 7000. There are still those who have not been captured.

Most of the time, if there are any abnormalities in the battle, you can watch the replay. I once discovered that X-rays penetrate trees.

Let’s put these down first.

My own setting is player vehicle 27, enemy vehicle volume 100. The positioning direction is feasible when separated by 1-2 buildings. Distance may not be guaranteed. In fact, it’s similar to opening the hatch of a helicopter after takeoff and listening to the sound of enemy fighter jets.

The core content is Article 5. Does this mean forcing everyone to enter MBT confrontation. Due to weak protection, highly maneuverable vehicles are no longer able to obtain better attack positions through maneuvering.

No 7000 banned accounts doesn’t mean 7000 x-rayers dummy, it just means 7000 banned accounts for anything from teamkilling to toxicity and breaking chat rules.

I have no problem scouting people through pretty much any terrain and also they’ve recently nerfed the ability to opening the heli door to listen for aircraft.

Flanking is possible on every map in the gam no exception, you just have to know where and when to do it. I do admit this is made much harder on the limited brawl zone maps gaijin has been adding but they still have routes to flank, and to camp and wait for enemy flankers.

It’s not just sound. If you have played the same maps for 4,000+ hours you’re going to know the general routes someone is going to take. There is a finite amount of ways to attack a position and the enemy spawn is telegraphed for you.

Add on to this scouting + the addition of scouting drones it’s very easy to determine enemy position.

People really underestimated the power of third person/binos aswell. The amount of kills I’ve gotten by peaking round the corner in 3pp before pushing is a little silly.

Usually, when a battle begins, I use maneuvering to take some strange routes.
The cause of death: If it weren’t for the direct encounter with the enemy, it was because: Listen, the sound of an engine is coming.
The yellow line represents the route, while the red arrow indicates the possible location of the enemy.

Yes, I admit it. So I only move to routes that the enemy is unlikely to take at the beginning of the battle. At this time, most of the enemies are moving to the battle site. I have sent a few pictures, and you will see that these routes are not frequently taken by enemies during battles. Wheeled combat vehicles can charge to these positions, making it difficult for the enemy’s field of view to see me. I am approximately located in their 3 or 9 o’clock direction, or even in the 5-8 o’clock direction range

I’m going right down the middle of the map and getting killed? Holy shit who could have guessed. On the first map you want to go along either the far left or far right of the map, as there are lots of natural obstacles to hide behind if someone approaches you and it is quite far from any action and not down the main fucking road visible from basically both spawns.

The second map is a bit better, as people generally don’t go there from the left spawn however they do from the right more often as you don’t have to expose yourself. you’d be much better off having some patience and getting behind one of the thin horizontal buildings slightly above your route and waiting for some people to get by first, then flanking.

The third map is just atrocious, as people love to camp literally just north of your flank route and lock down the middle of the map, and people take that route to flank C as well and you either go off spawn and most likely die to people on their way or take your time and die to people already there. A much better option is going south of C down in that sort of valley and coming up on the mountain on E/D8 and firing upon people waiting just outside the point or camping on the hill north of C.

It’s not the maps it’s your flanking routes I’m gonna be honest with you.

The first map, some people will appear on D1, C1, The road in the middle is rarely seen by people. The highway has prominent land, so Line 1 is relatively safe,
The yellow line outside point C on the second map represents the terrain at the lower limit. Unless the enemy stays at D5D6, it will be more dangerous. A group of people will rush to C. Based on the time, I usually come here and happen to see the side view. Don’t stay. Even when loading, it cannot stop.
On the third map, the enemy of C3C4 building heard the engine coming back to find me.

You can observe that your teammates generally do not take these routes and observe them, because they subconsciously believe that these routes are dangerous.

And then I am a highly maneuverable and vulnerable vehicle, only by taking strange routes can I avoid appearing on the front battlefield

Most of these routes put you on the front line though, ffs I will literally draw this up so you can understand

At the beginning of my battle, I will charge towards this location on this map. Once I am in place, the enemy will be around the red arrow position to observe our attack route.
The enemy usually does not stop or look behind this building when heading towards point B.

Before the battle in the red circle, move to the back of the red circle and kick their buttocks. Remember: Launch smoke bombs to block the view of enemies who rejoin the battle。

Many times, it’s because the engine noise exposed my position. Unless you choose to turn off the engine

Black X is common places enemies will head to
Blue is enemy vision on your routes, AKA your death
Red is Improved flanking routes that if you are in a fast vehicle you can get to before any enemies and wait for them to come or flank right away, and red X is places you should wait if enemies are still crossing along there, or just wait to see if any are coming first and when you should shoot at people.

as you can tell I’m not an artist but all these flanking routes work, I’m just really shit at portraying that in drawing lmao

What?

I also drew very poorly.
You have some routes that I can’t take. It’s too easy to face the enemy head-on.

The first map
Green circle: The land is higher than the road below, and there is a small building with a relatively small volume.
The green arrow actually indicates that most enemies tend to focus on the route of attacking A.
Green cuboid: The land here is high, blocking the left side of the attack route.
The two X’s in the red circle: Indeed, it is the most dangerous place, and here it depends on God’s blessing. Actually, I prefer them to look at the corners of Building D4.
On the far right: The red line is outside, so I usually don’t go. The probability of encountering enemies head-on is higher than the yellow line (I walk the yellow line)

The third yellow attack line must move against the green rectangular prism

Thats funny. Last time I checked Gaijin has to ban about 55k cheaters monthly, you can check the list yourself.

I play 400 arcade battles a week, so trust me - i’d know what a cheater looks like.

Arcade basically has built in cheats anyways idk what you’re complaining about. The list last month had 7K people so don’t spread misinformation like this.

The red circle pointed by the green arrow, this squatting enemy, we call “landmines”. It’s also a danger on the charge road
The red line below is a valley with a lower limit, and the location of X above looks down from below. This route still depends on one’s own playing style

3
The green line was drawn by me, the enemy’s regular movement route. I will also walk along the green line at the bottom.
I don’t know if the route that relies on buildings above can be taken yet. But if placed in a top tier room, mobility cannot widen the gap and may not necessarily lead to success

What is this thread even about anymore?
