Of course it still spanks em in actual close range fights. The point is that the F-16A is limited to AIM-9Ls and doesn’t get any SARHs, making it inferior to the F-16A ADF, so they end up having different BRs.
Sparrows are still very potent missiles, even when the R-27ER exists and them being on a F-16, which has a way better radar than everything else at that BR, definitely makes them a bigger threat than AIM-9Ls.

a MiG-29G which is at the same BR as the F-16A ADF will beat it at BVR and WVR considering it has a thrust vectoring IRCCM missile with HMD that the gap in flight performance is not going to close

F-16A ADF at 12.7 would not “destroy everything below” let’s be honest with ourselves, a MiG-23ML is losing to a MiG-29 9.13 just as much as an F-16A ADF

Instead of levitating the BR cap and move things up, you decided to drop F16 down?
For the F-16A ADF to be able to go down everything below it would have to go down as well or the compression would get worse again.

Then why would you not ask for raising the BR cap? Can you not fall in the gaijin trap on that? they are purposefully compressing toptier almost always, like always, to force you to grind the newest, is it so hard to see? That is the real problem.
