Exactly the point, asking to lower the F16 will only destroy what’s below

It was only one BR away from F4EJ kai. Does that sounds fair to you?
Things like F4E had to fight F16ADF, sounds fair? Sounds fun?
Now take a look at Bf109F-2 and Bf109F-4 that are 1.0 apart, how are they different?
Oh F4 has 200 more horsepower, and that is it.
What about F4E vs F16A ADF?

Finally someone who gets it. At prop and early jet tiers even the smallest performance differences could lead to multiple BR steps difference. Meanwhile at top tier planes that are straight upgrades are just 0.3 above the weaker ones (or even at the same BR in case of planes like the F-4S).

He112 to Ta152: 1.3 to 6.3
Meanwhile
Mig17 to Su27SM: 9.0 to 13.7

F-4E wouldn’t see the F-16A ADF at 12.7
may I remind you the F-16A-10 is still 12.7 and the only difference is AIM-7Ms which are identical to the AIM-7Fs on the F-4S/J

Here’s the thing, the f20 didn’t need to be raised imo nobody asked for it to be (along with a load of others) and that’s the whole point of the convo I’ve been having, it’s been put too high a br for what it’s capable of currently
At 12.7 it would qualify for downtiers against MiG-23s, strike Tornados, late Su-25s and the Kfir C.2 again
As it should’ve been raised to 12.3 before the patch, and everything else goes to 13.0, in patch Air Superiority.

The baseline F-16A doesnt get Sparrows at all, the ADF has the Sparrows.
and sparrows are very mid missiles

Yeah and it was the second best missile before the FOX3 era. What else do you want for a MRAAM? Or are you telling me, it is fair for F4EJ kai to sit near F16?
The point is we need decompression, we do not need any more lowering in BR. If something is underperforming when raise, and overperforming when lowered, then we need decompression.

seeing as how you consider F-16 radar with sparrows worthy of a BR jump yeah it makes sense for it to be above the F-4S

Not raising the F20A, but raising the FOX3 carriers, the situation is if you put F20A at 12.3 the rest of the field will have no chance what so ever to fight against it, so you don’t wanna do that. And yea, maybe F20A does not cope well with F16C and stuff, then extend the BR cap and raise them instead
