No matter what the devs do, someone will always find something to nitpick. There is no universally positive thing possible.
They could literally get rid of module grinds and there would be people crying that it’s unfair they had to go through module grinds when others don’t have to anymore.
so you those 9.3s to face 30g missile slinging supersonics again in exchange for 7.0 to 8.3 being decompressed?
Yes. It’s not like they would face better enemies than they did before these changes. In fact, they wouldn’t even be able to face an F5C if they went to 9.7.

I like these changes, most aircraft retain the old relative br with other aircraft, but theres an intereesting case of compression at 13.0 where all 4th gen planes without arh missiles go

Probably, with the exception of the F-104A/F-104C, the current 9.3 BR supersonic jets will stay in that BR because it is still face against all-aspect missile carriers and jets that should have been moved to 10.3/10.7 have not yet been moved such as F-104J, Mirage IIIC/IIICJ.
To begin with, some subsonic missile carriers such as the AV-8A and Hunter F.58 should not even be present in 9.x BR.
The dude I replied to said he continued to hope for something universally positive. That simply isn’t possible. Sure, there are problems, and there always will be. My point is literally there will always be problems for someone, so expecting a problem-free balance patch is stupid.

Milan together with mirage 3C should probably go up as well.
And more importantly F8U, I really don’t see why it is staying at 10.0
Why? Both got ZERO chances against T-2 9.7 or Mig-19 9.3

Luck? Both can evade 20G missiles or use unguided rockets as flares.
AIM-9G is not even a problem.
Kind of a hot take, but ground strike aircraft should not be effective in an air superiority fighter role. You wouldn’t complain about Sergeant York, highly specialized anti-air vehicle, not being able to take on contemporary MBTs, now would you?
