I’ll thank gaijin for making the game better, not for fixing an 8 year old bug that was actively detrimental to players.
Ah, yes, excuse me for expecting gaijin to not leave 8 y.o bugs that genuinely “stole” time and rewards from players in a game i invested money in, i should just be thankfull that the game is a slog to grind and that they just made it oh so slightly less worse by finally doing something that should have been done at best 7 years ago

Asian games would have given out a nice reward to the community as compensation. but gaijin? You better be glad they didn’t charge you extra for this fix.

So the lost RP is just gone forever… No way of compensating players for lost progress i see… Couldn’t be more underwhelmed ngl after having ground out multiple ground tech trees.

Remember to be grateful for them fixing it before a whole decade has passed.

I was expecting it to be fixed when the game was old enough to drive

When I saw the news I knew what I had to do
”Changes marked with a <3 were made possible thanks to player reports.” Person who made report sees this.

this bug has existed since around game launch

Finally, no more wasted research.
Making their game free was their business choice, so thinking we shouldn’t get critical bugs fixed in less than a decade is funny.
Yeah I’m a greedy and selfish bastard because I didn’t build them a statue after fixing a critical bug that’s been going on for a decade. How shameful is that from me ?

Its sort of a big issue for those who have purchased premium account time. You paid for thr means to help reduce the grind of this gsme only for an eight year old bug to consume some portion of your progress. At the very least, premium users should see come form of compensation. I personally would prefer everyone get sometbing because it did stiffle progress for everyone. But paying for the multiplier and yet a well known bug prevented you from getting any or some research you earned…thats not being entitled or ungreatful.

Did you even read anything I wrote?
I’ve seen several people respond to me saying I’m greedy and unthankful. I’m neither.
No one has provided a solid counterargument to my points. Tons of paying customers lost progress for nearly a decade due to this bug. The fact that Gaijin let it persist for so long without any effort to track or compensate lost RP is a huge failure on their part. Fixing it now doesn’t erase years of wasted effort from countless players.
At the end of the day, this isn’t about being “greedy”—it’s about fairness. If a company profits off its players, then it has a responsibility to ensure they aren’t losing progress due to long-standing bugs. Dismissing this issue just because it’s “finally fixed” ignores the bigger picture.
If you don’t have any good counterarguments to my points, then your message here on this forum is irrelevant.
So players losing progress for nearly a decade due to a bug outside of their control doesn’t matter, just because the game is free? That logic makes no sense.
People aren’t complaining that the bug got fixed—we’re pointing out that it took years, and during that time, paying customers lost progress with no attempt at tracking or compensation. If a company profits off its player base, it has a responsibility to ensure they aren’t unfairly losing progress due to long-standing issues.
Expecting fair treatment isn’t “greedy” or “selfish”—it’s holding a company accountable. The fact that so many people are quick to dismiss this just because the game is free shows how low the expectations have become.
