Mid-match, a “Connection to the server has been lost” error occurred, forcing all players back to the hangar. This was confirmed to be a server issue, as a squadmate/other player in the same match disconnected at the identical moment. The match did not count: no Silver Lions, Research Points, progress towards tasks, or statistics were recorded.
Crucially, the match IS visible in the official War Thunder Server Replay system , proving the session was active and recorded on Gaijin’s servers, but the conclusion/reward phase failed.
Just had this exact thing happen to me. Had 2 connection to server lost errors in a row, doing very well in both matches, restarted my game, the first match registered, the second one did not.
Gaijin is forcing the server hamsters to go vegan and they’re dying.
Bumped into this a few times this weekend as well, assumed it was a problem on my end. No rewards, no record of battle in messages, but the replay with a score table is available. Is it really that hard to make the rewards count for an unfinished battle, e.g. assuming both teams lost?
Just imagine what will happen to the servers during holidays.
i had this same exact issue a couple months ago, talk to support and show them your proof (server replay link, battle log, anything) and they might compensate you.
I got a day of premium time when it happened to me

I’m having similar issues lately…
First I thought it’s on my side of connection, but the game behavior was untypical for such scenario. Usually when my ISP screws up I first notice packet drops and plane/tank starts flying/driving in a weird way, then it finally drops me out of the game.
Here it’s just dropping rapidly out of the blue.
Recently had 2 such incidents one after another.
Both show in my replay menu, 1 of them showed up on my messages → battles list (probably after it ended), 2nd one is not showing there but it’s showing up the website with replays.
The one that shows in my messages definitely got processed since I was specifically looking to finish daily task to “Destroy player vehicles using a fighter”, progress was 44/45, after some time it was finished.
So it looks for some scenarios the fact that you are getting disconnected doesn’t mean rewards, etc won’t count, they certainly will, it looks you just have to wait until the actual match ends.
This is not true for me, and I think most people here
I’m familiar with rewards being delayed after normal disconnect this is not it, They don’t even show as “in progress” they don’t show up at all
The replays show as finished on the replay website but nothing in the mail, I have 2 games from 14 Dec that I still didn’t get rewards for, or perhaps they are slowly fixing it and recent games give rewards
I just hope they fix it with next update, so many people will be grinding and there will more load on the servers
