Of course you don’t focus on them, the Mig-29 is a air defense aircraft with a small fuel tank (They weren’t very happy with the SMT considering later models.) and the Su-27 has good enough flight performance while being able to do more thanks to its size. They didn’t call it one of the most maneuverable fighters of its time for nothing. Sure, it’ll get stomped by a Eurofighter in a dogfight, but I imagine it can still notch/crank/etc. just fine.
It’s not about competing with the Eurofighter so much as it’s about being able to compete at all.
I mean the F-16 should only be able to beat the Mig-29 in a dogfight if they stay above 100 knots and are in a guns-only fight. I know the F-16 is overperformimg, but there’s still something wrong with this picture courtesy of it bleeding speed in game like the F-18 does irl
Why are you even bringing up Tornado as it’s a heavily compressed vehicle in GRB ?
By doing that, you will force me to bring up SM3, which is a radar-less, subsonic aircraft with 2x R-73 and only 4x Kh-38s at 12.7.
It’s worse than Tornado and should need something to compensate for those 15x fully unleashed LOALs, right ?

The most logical explanation is that there is skill based matchmaking in place. My theory is that if you do too well consistently (relative to your team or overall), the game will force you to fight much stronger players/nations to compensate.
When I play US I legitimately see GER RU SWE together more than 50% of the time when even 20% would be suspicious. Yet I have NEVER been on a GER RU SWE team myself, when I play Germany (very rare these days), I almost always face US and Russia together which also NEVER happens when I play US.
If I’m right and this SBMM reads your performance relative to your team, then decent US players get punished heavily because anyone with a lineup will perform way better than a one death leaver
Seeing how you moan about 6x Kh-38s I doubt you are willing to accept anything more than that.
Planes with historically accurate Brimstones wouldn’t need to worry about Pantsir.
You tell me, as LOAL munitions are probably the most handheld thing we will see in the game.

I do I really don’t mind as long we have equivalent (and irl they don’t have any better than KH-38 so i don’t worry much maybe KH-28 ARM but well HARM exist)
Same as SU-34 and SU-25SM3 don’t have to worry about other SPAA and they doing it right now

The KHs aren’t an equivalent as they aren’t LOAL, they actually require you to find targets yourself.

They do, but your Tornado receiving 15x LOAL would instantly mean SM3 gets equal amount (or even more) of KHs.

hmm yeah but still you need to increase size of SU-25 like three times or more to put X16KH-38 and since this game still have rule of physic unlike Ace Combat no ways you can’t put X16 KH-38 on SU-25 like X15 on Tornado without increases size and you gonna need size of heavy bomber to do that

I’m sure that will be their argument. Mark my words, we’ll get gimped longbows and brimstones with a simple LOBL guidance (hard coded to do non lethal hits), and they’ll use those to justify adding the absolute best overturned spaa to Russia.
