L27A1 does not one shot a T-90M the round is frequently absorbed by the side armour. Britains top tank uses L27A1
There is no trade off because nothing else can counter an SU34 launching the second it spawns. You say it’s free kills for air but that means while i’m already defending from 15km away I now have to pray my radar picks up the Su34 in 0.5 seconds and i can launch an AMRAAM that will probably not even hit because he’s now diving back to his airfield after already launching all his missiles.
As CAP pilot in GRB yeah damn straight
got fire upon force to go defensive instantly right after spawn
And since the bastard don’t trigger most RWR only thing to identify theirs incoming missile is eyeball
Even i used to deal with these bs but still it annoying.
It happen before and that Apache is British AH MK1.
Yup. And it’s the same ol’ people - judging how good vehicles they face are without actually using them. So they think vehicles are amazing, but never know the downsides of said vehicles because they only have one half of the picture.
And the T-90M can’t reverse - so what is your point? T-90M didn’t die in one hit, so? It’s not going anywhere. And with the type of damage it takes, there is a good chance your L27A1 disabled its ability to fire.
Incorrect - it often faces Russia. China is a good nation to laugh at all you major nations mains who cry bias. China gives the full picture, while donking on you all with AFT09. Playing China, you’ll know that the biggest worry that USA has at higher-BRs are one-death-leavers in premiums such as the Click-Bait, rather than anything actually wrong with the vehicles accessible to those who actually have the tree ground out.
When i play the Su-25BM with Kh-29TE missiles, i can’t lock on targets before at best 8 km in perfect conditions, depending on the vehicles camouflage pattern (Yes it actually matters).
However I can lock onto a point on the ground from over 12 km distance. I have no chance to engage a moving target from this distance, but most SPAA players don’t move after they spawn in or have found a position, so they are easy to pick off.
When i play SPAA, I move around, disable radar, use guns, deploy smoke and seek cover behind buildings. Most SPAA players don’t do that, and thats why they experience not being effective against “Fire and forget” weapons. And besides - most CAS players are incompetent anyway.
Cant reverse, but it did reverse behind cover and it took 2 side shots from a nations top tier round.
Which is absurd. Relikt is a fairy tale, so good Russian tankers are adding add on amrour to the impenetrable Relikt… Meanwhile actual proven armour systems NERA blocks designed to stop tandem warhead ATGMs dont stop anything.
Leopards 2A7/STRV-122b are the same the turret armour from the front to the side of the turret is a broken OP mess.
Game needs balance currently we do not have it.
Thats not fair in a few games as SPAA/SAM you are dead as players are already looking at the spawn and it’s always more than one threat. you engage the Su-25 coming in with rockets or the shorter range missiles and you die to to the Su-34 further away launching Kh-38s or the Helicopter launching ATGMS.
Yes you can drive from spawn but you cant hide forever as soon as you engage, that big smoke trail lights you up for all CAS aircraft.
The game is from Russia… They will have an affinity to their home country. Are they slow at updating balance, yea but if the game was from another country it would be the same thing just toward that home country.
It may be harder to get technical documents on other systems for other countries due to certain world events, not to mention a lot of other modern anti air systems still have classified documentation and export restrictions, and they may have an easier time getting the documentation for Russian vehicles esp for AA.
Playing both US and Russian TT lines both have their strengthens and weakness and you have to play them different. Both the UK and The US have long range missiles for air to ground that are outside the firing range in the Pantsir range but when you spawn inside its range and the other person know you where you will be spawning and just keeps an eye on that location and shoots the moment you appear its a bit annoying.
The main problem with high tear other than one death leavers, is the maps. These maps have a design philosophy around WW2 tanks not modern weapons. So the smaller maps cram much faster and more maneuverable vehicles into a smaller box. There is no time to plan any attack as you are already in anti air range the moment you spawn in.
This year we have a 76% chance of seeing Anti radiation missiles being added which will will defiantly have an impact on ground rb anti air
If you wait until the plane is within effective range before you roll out of cover, you can catch them while they try to lock onto another ground target and the missile will be far enough away from you for them to spot you when they notice it.
Some maps dont have cover though, and your Radar has already notified them the new RWRs make ambushing anything at top tier a real challenge. Even the mighty Pantsir cannot live with a low flying fast Typhoon launching Brimstones.
British top tier SAM is the ADATS which we know isnt great by any stretch with the Stormer as the back up. It’s also a balancing act hide and let that Su-34 delete 6 team mates of try and shoot it down with the risk you die to it’s missile or another CAS aircraft. Now the buggers also carry that 3000kg glide bomb which is a nasty surprise when it’s thrown at you while you are trying to deal with Kh-38s and strike aircraft
No, the gaijin is based in Budapest, and even if the original developers are russians, the biggest market is outside of russia - there are simply not that many of them. I would ashume that you generally think that gaijin is greedy, so why bother having biases when it favours the minority?
Fair. Maby they should just add more cover.
I dont think there is anywhere a SAM can hide from a jet at 40k ft with a targeting pod (or missiles with a thermal cameras)
Also fair, the players that do that should just get a life. What is 40 ft in metric?
When I play China, the hoards of Leopard 2s are more of a concern than any T-90 or T-80, that’s for sure. But often China has to face Laoprd 2A7 and T-90M/80BVM in the exact same damn game.
If it wasn't for the AFT09, I'd never bother with top-tier China
12’000m ish
Not addressing any arguments in the post you respond to, just yapping in your own little spoonfed world. Must be bliss.
Fastest stat check in the west.
Like I said, not gonna explain my stats to an easy mode player.
The owner and creator of war thunder is russian, it doesnt matter where their office is. I didnt say anything about bias I mentioned affinity, and also explained the classified nature and export restrictions. So being of Russian origin and being into military vehicles, it would be obvious they would have a draw to get the coolest Russian vehicles they could into the game, along with being able to probably source materials easier.
You make assumptions based on your own bias as i did not mention anything about money.
