That’s a balance issue, not a realism issue, you know that they are sub 3br tanks that are from the cold war, no one complains about them, because they are balanced
Sim could get more historical mm. Though not sure to what extent that should be.
It shouldn’t be full on date matchmaking but it should be somewhere between what it is now (grb with sim settings) and a full on date matchmaker. There are lots of tanks that are weirdly out of place in sim lineups. For example, one of the recent sim ground lineups had Germany using their entire late war ww2 lineup but france had an entire lineup of 1950s tanks like Lorraine/AMX50/Somua
Again, it’s bad for sim gameplay at the very least
And again, it’s a balance issue because it’s already too low, it’s a realism issue because it is fighting tanks half a century out of date before it was even prototyped, that it would not fight even if it was at an appropriate BR for its capabilities, its EVEN MORE of a realism issue because it is missing IRL features to artificially keep it fighting things it should not be fighting based of BOTH realism AND balance.
And that’s my last comment on the issue, if you don’t get it by now you either wont get it at all or do and are trolling, in which case GG.
I mean I do think pzh2000 should be like 8.3 but any higher and it becomes very useless, the game is too compressed

True, but there are creative solutions, for example:
Remove scouting from drones and allow SPHs to target the old “attention to the map” marker with indirect fire.
This should be done regardless of any changes to specific vehicles

I don’t disagree on that, but scout drones and indirect arty fire seems like a no brainer. You could even tie it into the regular scouting, but less accurate.

Because the date of the tank doas not matter for a balanced gameplay, it’s the problem is fully in balance, the date of the tank is COMPLETLY irrelevent to the gameplay
Yeah there is. It makes no sense to entirely separate these BRs. Decompression, yes, that should be done. This is not decompression.
People do not want that, exept german mains who think the german army was 99% tiger so it would be realistic if the tiger was 3.7 like the sherman

that would largely solve the issue. As I said in my original post the separation of cold war/ WW2 tanks just resulted in everything moving up to be fighting what it was before, but that is also a sign of how over compressed the whole game is.
You want realism? Now every time you ask to spawn a tiger, their is only about 3% you get it, all other time you will be put in a stug, maybe a panzer 4 if you are lucky, or a panzer 1 if you are unlucky
One thing you will always notice is that those arguing “we need historical mm because i want historical gameplay” only ever seem to argue in relation to late war heavies.
I have never seen a single one argue that their low tier cold war tank should face stronger tanks.
maybe take your imaginary german main and go on a honeymoon with them somewhere far away because this waving away of legit opinions is kinda annoying
