Selling Crew Training and Qualification

War Thunder is notorious for it’s crew training and qualification costs.
Every vehicle requires additional silver lions outside the base cost of vehicle itself to be used, which creates heavy burden on players (except reserves oc).

I think it is good system to be able to sell unused crew training and qualifications for reduced price, which I propose 20%.
I do recognize this does not really make sense lorewise - as you can’t just “forget” how to operate a vehicle - but I assume many people will see it trivial.

This implementation will grant much option for the players as they can repurpose qualifications of vehicles which they no longer use, often taking up several scrolls on the menu. It will also allow more flexible organization of lineups.

I did not add this topic on suggestions tab as I considered it not well polished, but I wanted to introduce this concept to you guys.

Why would you even really want that? If you want to ever come back to play the same vehicle you will just have to rebuy the qualifications and literally just lose SL. It should be so that the price of crew training is already included in the purchase peice of the vehicle and then maybe only expert and ace are slot specific

It is entirely uppon user’s decision.

It also fixes messing up your lineup because you trained two vehicles on same crew and you can’t use them together unless you pay again. Maybe you trained same vehicle on two crews. Or, you might just know you are never/rarely going to ride that vehicle agains and deems qualification unworthy. Now you get some returns in exchange of unused specifications. Again, this is entirely freedom of users to do and what not.

I do agree on free crew training, but you and I both know that gaijin will hardly let it happen. This acts as a decent substitue to ease progression and lineup organization. Even if gaijin do make training free, expert and ace qualification should be sellable and it harms literally no one.

Not in favor of such a feature.

Makes things even more complicated and wasteful for a new player. Better have a short movie explaining crews before you ever get to spend SL on them.

Messing up lineups and trainings, then having to be stuck with that for rest of your account is way more wasteful to new players. Also if you are concerned about new player specific problems, there are many solutions to avoid them.
I agree on tutorial on crew mechanics but I hardly see why that is mutually exclusive to my proposal.

The problem is the unwise spending, and that is not solved by 20% refund but by education.
Aside from that, the crew trainings a novice does may seem expensive to him but turn out to be peanuts in the long run. By the time expert cost 1.5 Mio SL, you should have figured out how to manage crew training.
Aside from that, the way the game handles crew training is even somewhat realistic.

You wanted feedback, you got mine. You don’t have to agree.

You posted that feedback expecting someone to read and react, you got mine. There is no reason to make meta arguments. I have just as much freedom to disagree as you have.

The reason I thought of this implementation is because after years of playing, I still get annoyed by giant and complex list of qualifications across 10 nations and 10 crew slots. No qualifications could be transmitted or altered in any way once you payed for it, and I wanted to change it. I wanted to clean it up.
