I would like to suggest the Sd.Kfz.6/2 which is a relatively potent, but big halftrack with russian captured gun. Which would add to the Halftrack action in game and be a similar vehicle to the M3 GMC, yet a bit more powerfull but just as fun to use and effective for the lower brs as well as could fill the hole between the Pzj I Ausf. B and the Marder III (which uses the modified variant of this gun with higher charge)
As well as the basic Sd.Kfz.6/2 with 3,7 cm Flak 36 is allready in game and these would make a perfect duo for those who love halftracks. This would also be a “we have Pak-Halbkette (Sd.Kfz.251/22) at home”, beeing also armored and relatively powerfull armed.
History:
The Sd.Kfz.6 (mittlerer Zugkraftwagen 5 t) was the standart 5 ton half track vehicle used by the Wehrmacht in WW2 as medium troop and artillery tractor. It was developed befor WW2 to be the main arty tractor along of the Sd.Kfz.7 for the 2 cm - 8,8 cm Flak and 15 cm s.F.H 18 and other smaller arty and AT pieces. The contract was given to Heinrich Ernst Kniepkamp in 1926 and was part of a group of testing between german, american and english tractors over a period of 3 year with it winning the contract and only 25% more fuel consumtion over normal Trucks. After further development full production started in 1934.
While the standart 6 was with pionier construction, the /1 with benches to pull arty, the /2 was with 3,7 cm Flak and the /3 was unique amone the halftracks as it was one of the few at the beginning to carry a AT and AI gun.
Unlike many texts say, this gun is not limited to russian ammo, but instead will have its own ammo, to be exact the same as the Pak 36(r) allready in game, however with lower velocity, as own production ammo was simply far more available especially after the german army was on the retreat.
The 6/3 was envisioned as a long range cheap vehicle in late 1941 (similar to the Pz.Sfl. II mit 7,5 cm K. L/41) to be used in the African desert with strong armarment to fight against the heavy british tanks such as Matilda II, however while relativly unsuccessfull. While they were relativly modified, with armor to protect against MG and Rifle fire, the whole gun with mount and wheels was placed on the back, this made the hicle relatively heavy as well with the armor in front of the grill resulted of the engine beeing stressed in the hot environment. As allready written the armor was only thick enove to protect against MG and rifle fire, which was relatively useless in the vast open spaces of the african desert as well as most often, the target of this vehicle, the heavy tanks, could also fight back, which the thinn armor didnt protect from.
Later in August 1941 the same was tried on the Sd.Kfz.7, however after 1 prototype it was abandond, as it didnt offer greater performance.
The Gun:

The 7,62 cm Fk 36(r) L/48,4 was the russian captured F-22 gun, used as is as well as with own production ammo. It was used as a Field Gun (Feldkanone) as well as on the Sd.Kfz.6/3.
Originally the F-22 was developed to use a bigger casing than the ZiS-3 gun, however for better supply chains it was choosen against that and used the same ammo, however cince it was build with still a stronger breech, germany modified those into the 7,62 cm Pak 36 (r) L/48,4 by giving them a new german muzzle brake as well as drilling out the chamber to accept 714mm casings (like the Pak 40), to achiv greater velocity. In that form they were also mount on the Marder II and III.
