limited elevation is a much bigger flaw in my opinion. Not being able to shoot is much worse than doing a little bit less damage. The damage of heavy mgs on the m16 or btr152d is still enough to kill many planes really fast. the exceptions are stukas, il-2 and some bombers, but fighters die to heavy mgs fast enough if you hit them right. They are great at starting fires which is lethal 80% of the times.

Did you know that there can be several spaas? Then say hello to attacking them all, or killing one spaa and then more will spawn, that’s just idle talk.
You are never the only player in the battle and the rest of these brainless teammates should be doing something too.
What’s the point of killing one if several of them spawn, especially great when you’re attacking a spaa that happens to have spawn protection…

maybe you shouldn’t spawn planes if the enemy team has several spaas? It’s their job to shoot down planes!? Or do you just wanna bomb without a counter?
If the enemy team has 4 spaas these players are more or less useless against other tanks. Should be an easy win. You are not obligated to spawn planes, you know?

How do you know when you are on the ground whether your opponent has 1 spaa or 10 spaas? explain this to me? or maybe you play with cheats or play arcade so you know it…
It’s fine where it is and it’s nice to actually be able to shoot something down in GRB.

Nothing, everyone can say something about vehicles of all nations, but when it comes to German ones, it’s mainly the Germans who start fighting for their vehicles xD
I play all nations at mostly WW2 level.The main issue we have in War Thunder is CAS and it is nice (and rare) to have good SPAA where you can actually see the enemy.
I love it and wish we had more effective SPAA. As other people said, The half track does not get used to attack ground vehicles unlike the French DCA so it does not get uptierd into uselessness.,which is good because raising the DCA did nothing for the game overall.

Few know this but the 251/21 has a max elevation of only 50deg or so. Flying above it makes you entirely invulnerable to it, which is something you can’t do against pretty much any other SPAA.

CAS a problem? I guess it’s only when you play Germany, when playing with other nations it’s not a special or big problem, it’s just part of the game. CAS is a problem mainly when you play Germany, in most cases German players don’t know what a plane is or they fly straight into the ground. I recently played with the Germans on 6.7 and saw what these teams look like.
It’s just that players of all nations take planes and use them in battles, while German players do not.
I wouldn’t even go there bro.How many anti CAS posts? How many calls for TO.Lets not venture down that rabbit hole.
I like Germans,they have great beer and do very generous barbecues.

I’m telling you what I see in battles, playing as Germans can be unpleasant due to CAS, but playing any other nation feel better.
Anybody who dares to venture out into battle in that old hand cart deserves the Knights cross with diamonds, swords ,oak leaves and extra Hello kitties.

I don’t know, maybe by paying atention to what’s going on around? You know, the minimap, kill feed, flying bullets/shells up the air, listening to the sounds, etc…
It’s called awareness. Pretty useful thing in a battle…
Because they don’t have many actually useful and easy-to-use CAS aircrafts on WWII ranks, while, on the other hand, they have plenty of very good ground vehiles…

Do you know what logic this is? You can write in the same way that if the 2s38 killed you, only a paper vehicle with a funny little cannon killed you, or if the Strela 10m killed you, only a funny paper vehicle with rockets killed you.
I understand that you will write the same for any vehicle that has good weapons? Very logical yes…

I can take CAS so long as there is a fair antidote and at least when playing Germany there is.We should have the same cover for all nations not less.

When it comes to planes, it doesn’t have to be a cas, it could just as easily be a fighter to fight enemy planes or enemy spaa, the Germans have a few cas, for example the FW 190, apart from the fact that fighters can also have bombs or rockets attached to them, just like with most American players do. You seem to be a German main because you don’t think and you talk nonsense.
